Read some helpful reviews of Storage Brothers at 721 Forward Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

When I originally rented my unit I was under the original owner/the family and thought they were very nice, the area looked clean and safe. I needed a place to store my kayak and a couple pieces of excess furniture, one of the small units was perfect. When Storage brothers bought the business a few months into my renting they were great about reaching out and making the transition a very smooth one, they were just as nice and easy to get a hold of with any questions AND they set up online payments for us. I always felt like my stuff was safe there, minimal bugs/spiders let alone evidence of any other critters (not sure how they do it but it’s great). Sad to go but moving into a new place with more storage. Highly recommend Storage Brothers! ... Read more

I needed a storage unit for some furniture and after calling around, I chose West Side/ Pines West Self Storage. The location is very convenient and the price was reasonable. I told Don what I needed to store and he picked out the exactly correct size for my needs. The unit and premises were clean and well-lighted, and although there is not lighting inside the unit, I did not really need one. No signs of any bugs or mice getting in and my stuff was in great condition when I moved it out. Highly recommended! ... Read more

I personally have not met the staff myself, however I have used part of a storage unit. I can tell you my unit was clean and in good repair, more over I have no complaints. So why 4 out of 5 stars? There is no lighting inside the unit, there's a light outside a ways away but nothing inside the storage space. However I've found the roll up garage type door units to hold a magnetic light very well (just don't forget it when you close the door lol) ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Brothers - 721 Forward Drive include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Unstaffed Location and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
