I rode my bike thru to check out the facility. There was a 60 something burnout claiming to be the night watchman there(This is daytime btw). I said hello as I biked by. Then when I turned the corner, the man accosted me, claiming that I was trespassing. Sure enough, there is a no trespassing sign, beneath a giant banner advertising the business. I apologized, yet He said he was going to call the police. I told him to go ahead. They don't have a locked gate. The night watch burnout man, is a complete moron. Do not use this place, unless you want your stuff stolen, or want to be harassed by an idiot. ... Read more

Eugene is the beez knees I've gotta say. Not only does he pay meticulous detail to the potential presence of any screw or nail on the ground that may pop your tire but he is also fair and lenient in the face of adversity once you have established a relationship with him. Don't give him any checks that you expect cashed in a timely fashion though, cash is king at Stock and Lock. -Muel ... Read more

Eugene has been so easy to work with: he went out of his way to help me get moved in at an odd time of the month and he has been easy to work with financially. My unit was cleaned and swept out two days before I expected to move in, nice, then he called me and let me start moving and didn't charge extra for the days. I like the location (and that it's not very visible from the street) the 24hr access and being able to reach Eugene himself by phone almost any time. There aren't any amenities, no temperature control, no indoor units, no temp. control or water but for what I need the price, size and location are great. Thanks, Eugene! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stock-N-Lock - 251 North Fair Oaks Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Stock-N-Lock - 251 North Fair Oaks Avenue start from $100 and can go up to $210 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
