Read some helpful reviews of Lok Safe Storage at 2189 Woodale Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I found the price higher than most on the market. My mom had her units on Elizabeth street for a long time. She new Bill and the people in the office well and enjoyed her interactions with all. But with all things it was time to move on and sort her affairs at 89 yrs old. She is doing ok but getting around has become a struggle. Storing things no longer was a option. My only complaint would be higher prices and some problems with mice in her units. They can travel from unit to unit from the areas near the doors. So units need to be baited to control mice. ... We’ve rented a large storage unit on Woodale for our Packer bus for 10 plus years. Recently Bill Lutzke came and adjusted our overhead door. It’s never worked better. We’re very happy with the prompt service. ... Read more

I rented space at your Cornell location for multiple years to store my boat. I found your storage units secure and easy to access despite time of day. Your automatic online payment method also made it easy to make payments. If I have any disappointment, it was the elimination of electricity in my unit as I would often return my boat at night, and missed the option of having a light in my unit. Although, I understand the reason for eliminating the access to electricity, it sadens me that a few people could ruin this option for many of us by keeping refrigerator/freezer appliances in their units. I will consider your storage units in the future, if needed. Thanks again. Jim ... Read more

Only problem I experienced over a 12 year rental was notifications when rental fees were changing. They would send a notification three to six months in advance but no reminder, then was charged a late fee because I didn't pay the correct amount. Just a reminder a week before the change would be appreciated as a customer. Otherwise, I enjoyed doing business with Lok-Safe. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Lok Safe Storage - 2189 Woodale Avenue include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 150 to 560 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Lok Safe Storage - 2189 Woodale Avenue start from $115 and can go up to $305 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
