Read some helpful reviews of Packerland Properties at 2751 North Packerland Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I needed to rent a storage unit to store items after selling my house. Packerland Storage offered a reasonable price and the staff were very helpful in explaining the process of monthly payment. I rented the unit for 4 months. When I no longer needed the unit I emptied it and swept it out, (no mice as others have claimed), and then I notified the office. I received my deposit check shortly thereafter in the mail. I was very pleased with the helpful staff and my overall experience. I would rent there again. ... Read more

My upstairs neighbor couldn't get their car moved so the driver could pick up my Pod unit. Ben was awesome to work with. He checked with my previous landlord for 5 days until they were able to get it picked up and he communicated with me the entire time. Thank you Ben for helping me during a stressful time. ... Our uncle rented a trailer from this location for us to take back to Arizona for him. We made it to New Mexico on the bald, three-year old tire. When it blew, the trailer dragged and started a brush fire along Interstate 40. With fire coming at us and our new truck, UHaul roadside assist decided it was more important to ask me to take photos of the trailer and ask me about damage to the trailer than to dispatch help. I was on the phone with them for 15 minutes before help was dispatched. Thankfully, I knew enough to call 911 first. The county Sheriff told us about the local mechanic that UHaul would likely dispatch and I called them direct. As he was pulling up, I received the text that help had been dispatched and would be with us in the next 30 minutes. The fire was put out by the local and volunteer fire department and we were on our way on the new tire. THANK YOU to those who helped. As for UHaul, thanks for putting us and many others in danger and taking ZERO responsibility for your actions. When we returned the trailer in Arizona, my husband was left to park and unhook the trailer in 110 degree heat while a UHaul employee sat in the office watching YouTube videos on his computer. The woman who checked me in was nice and helpful, but the young man on the computer certainly explained how we were put on the road with a bald, three-year old tire on a trailer going 2000 miles across the Midwest. We lodged a complaint with UHaul and it was placed with the Green Bay area manager. He was horribly rude to me and to make it worse, the final determination was that we must have hit something or overloaded the trailer. First, if we had hit something, our truck tires would have been impacted. They were not. The trailer was carrying boxes with household goods (dishes, bedding, etc) and it wasn't full, so unless we were limited to carrying pillows, it was not overloaded. So, no Brandon. It was more and very likely the bald, three-year old tire and employees who put us on the road in danger, roadside assist that spends 15 minutes asking ridiculous questions while trucks whiz by at 75 mph and fire heads our way, and people in the return office that allow a 60+ year old man to park and unhook his own trailer in 110 degree heat while they watch YouTube videos. Roadside assist wanted photos. Well, here they are. You can see them with the rest of the people looking at your reviews. The tire is clearly old and the wheel not maintained at all. ... Read more

Do not rent from these people if you ever get behind on a payment. I was in a really rough spot because of Christmas coming up and a few other things in life so I was two months behind and it was still the middle of the second month and I have been with just over a year now and i always pay them and they send two normal bills and no other contact or letters saying that i need to come in and pay or I will need to clean it out or otherwise they would sell my things. Instead I get a letter saying that they have decided to cut the lock off of my storage unit and have already gone through my stuff and priced things to sell. That if i didn't pay before the 18th that they would sell everything. They put their own lock on so that i cant get in. But what they could have done was put their own lock on with mine so that I couldn't have gotten in until I paid. Then told me i had until the 18th rather than snoop through all my stuff. Makes sense doesn't it? Well they didn't do that. I feel like my privacy is now completely violated. After being with them for this long I at least expected halfway decent treatment but unfortunately I didn't get that. Just a warning to anybody considering renting a storage unit here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Packerland Properties - 2751 North Packerland Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Parking, First Floor Access and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 800 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Packerland Properties - 2751 North Packerland Drive start from $55 and can go up to $400 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
