We had a storage unit with Eagle storage from November 24 to July 25 and would absolutely rent one again! Scott is great and so easy to work with! Our unit was big enough for all our things and very safe. Would absolutely recommend for anyone in the area looking for a storage unit at a great price! ... Read more

December of 2021 my storage unit was broken into and over $8,000 worth of items were stolen. This facility has no entry gate and only has two cameras, one in front and one in back (none pointing at any of the units). The cameras were not working at the time. My lock was broken into and they had all the time in the world because no one is watching and anyone can walk or drive in and have access to all the units. The claim of "Digital Video Surveillance " apparently only applies to cars entering and leaving ( if the cameras actually work). I would stay far away if you have anything of importance in your storage unit. ... Read more

My family and I rented a unit with Eagle Storage for almost a year. The units and property were very well maintained and clean. We recently moved and due to weather fell behind in being moved out by 3/31. I called and spoke with Scott who was more than understanding. I told him we only needed 2 days and would be out by Sunday 4/2. He not only said "no problem" and that there would not be a fee for the 2 days or for the late move out. If we ever need to store anything again, we will go no where else. Great Customer Service and genuinely nice people can be hard to find these days. Thank you Scott!!! Josh N. ... Read more

If you need extra storage Eagle Storage has multiple choices in size. Easily accessible, clean and secure units. I had emptied my house when I moved to Florida and had kept a unit for 10 years at this facility! Scott, the owner was always quick to answer a call or email. Payment can be set up for auto-pay which is a great option. Eagle is a quiet and lovely village, and your belongings will be safe there. ... Read more

Thank you Eagle Storage for the great experience. We needed a good location to safely secure our important family items while we listed our home for sale and found a new home. The process was seamless and Scott was great to work with. Scott gave us all the information we needed for our rental and we would highly recommend Eagle Storage to others. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 1,000 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Eagle Storage - W356 S9045 West Godfrey Lane start from $85 and can go up to $258 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
