Lok Safe uses a business model of ratcheting up rent. The last unit I had with Lok Safe ended at $147/mo for the same size unit that I’m paying $70/mo for across town. I started my rental of the first unit at $75/mo and in 36 months saw the rent DOUBLE. I started renting at the second Lok Safe facility at $70/mo and at the beginning of my third month received notification that they are intending to increase the rent by 25%. This business model and tactics are short sighted and disingenuous, but also stupid in that long term renters are the holy grail sought after by storage facilities. Lok Safe strong arms their clients with these bullshit increases. Look elsewhere because this company does not treat customers well and will increase your rent continually until you’ve finally had enough and you will end up moving out to seek reasonable rent again. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Lok Safe Storage - 1410 Mid Valley Road include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 110 to 440 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Lok Safe Storage - 1410 Mid Valley Road start from $75 and can go up to $173 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
