A very polite employee Deb retired and the new manager is everything that is opposite of what they stood for, I never have met another unsympathetic person before until now, spoke to the owner and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I will never do business with them again, take your money elsewhere. ... Read more

I love this storage business! I've been with them for years and I've always been super happy and comfortable with them not one complaint. I love that it's always under watch with 24hr camera recording the area all day and night, very secure and safe. And also Debbie at the front desk is so sweet and willing to help in any way she can. ... Read more

From the second I walked in, I instantly knew I was in the right place, and in really good hands! This place and it's employees are absolutely wonderful! I absolutely cannot say enough about just how much I love the employees, and the level of customer service that they provide. Amazing service that absolutely cannot be beat, the place is always spotless, and they have 24/7 recorded security and pest control! This place has a very mom & pop local feel to it. Please support this local business, their rates can't be beat, for the quality and service one receives. You absolutely 100% cannot go wrong, by choosing this place, as your next storage facility. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Yakima Riverside Storage - 1303 University Pkwy include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
