I JUST rented a space here and let me just say, this is the dirtiest and worst storage facility I have EVER used. And ive used well over a dozen.
While the desk staff checking me in was great and helpful - my code didnt work at check in.
Once I was shown my unit, I was appalled. The floor is absolutely filthy and greasy. I expect a storage unit to be a bit dirty - its just how it is, but this is next level. My kids stuffies immediately got smeared with dirt and grease.
Now, that could be overlooked - except my unit is smaller than it should be because there's a giant wall and ANCIENT pipe that leads straight to who knows where in the middle of the back wall. See the photos for yourself. The unit itself felt smaller than my even 10x10 - but was reported as a 10x16?
Not only that, but there were no carts as far as I could tell. There was one vehicle in my parking area - so maybe it was in use... but that means there's only 1 cart for an entire building of units?
I will be moving out within a few weeks.

The old facility could use some work, but the new facility is nice and up to date, and keeps in line with modern private storage standards. The site manager, Rosa, is one of the nicest and most competent customer care professionals that I've ever spoken to. Rosa takes good care of her customers, diligently watches the facility and its grounds, and is always quick with answers and help when needed. If it weren't for Rosa, I might not even still be renting there; she solved a problem for me that had cropped up without my notice, and did it with grace and patience. She deserves all the good things in this world and more. If you're thinking of choosing a place to rent based on the quality of its staff, I'd say pick this place: you can't do better than Rosa. ... I received excellent customer service throughout this process. They took the time to thoroughly research and locate my lost 2024 receipt, which was not an easy task given that I had moved between three different units. Despite the complexity, they remained patient, attentive, and positive the entire time. I don’t even know where to start. I rented a 3rd floor unit from one of the nicest people, Rosa, and the price was right. It was 3 days before my move in and all looked great. Then when I pull up with a full U-Haul truck on Sunday I find out their elevator has gone out… again. The guy behind the counter was a total zero. That is the first thing after the elevator they need to fix. I asked why no one called to let me know I would not be able to use the elevator and he said I don’t know. I asked if he could move me to a first floor unit for the same price since it apparently took them several days to get it fixed the week before, and this was not my fault and he said no. I asked for a refund so I could try and go elsewhere and he said he couldn’t do it without approval from an area manager. I asked for the contact info for a manager to speak to and he said he was the manager of this location and he was not authorized to give any information out regarding the area manager or corporate for filing complaints. He wouldn’t even pick up the phone to make a call. I was stuck overnight with a full U-Haul that I now have to pay another day for, having to pay for an additional day of help unloading, pay for a storage unit elsewhere without refund from this place, take a day off of work to finish the move and pay for an additional day at the rental I did not vacate on time. Plus the man behind the counter wanted to complain to ME that he has a sick relative and was forced to work that day because no one would cover his shift and he hates his job. WHAT?? I’m sorry for your problem and I truly hope your family member gets better but I have a few issues of my own to deal with.

Please avoid storing your items at this facility. In my opinion they have a rat infestation problem and high theft. Other people have complained about this ongoing problem as well to management. Although onsite management was professional is not to blame, it still did not stop my items from having feces on them. I ended up with a sore throat, runny nose and headache after being in my unit. The facility is made out of wood and it looks like it's rotting because there is water leakage stains in the ceiling of this facility every where. The ceiling may just cave in from my observation.
I had to move my items to an entirely new storage facility and asked to be reimbursed. I had their insurance at the time of the feces being found on my items but was told I would not be reimbursed. Convenient maybe safe. But they will change your price in the middle of the contract. My rent went up 43% three months after signing a contract. I’m an active duty soldier serving on the other side of the world, opting to keep my family heirlooms out of government storage. Now I’m stuck paying until I can get back to Tacoma.

I’m actively looking to move out of this horrendous storage situation. If neighboring units that leak unknown filth and rat infestations are your thing, then this is the place for you. I reported the leaking unit 2 weeks ago. The attendant gave me a bag of absorbent to put on the liquid and said they couldn’t get in touch with the renters of the leaking unit. Two weeks later, the leak is far worse, it’s attracting rats, and the smell is beyond normal. Multiple notices to the office have not resulted in any resolution other than “do you want to move units”. I’ll need to pay movers again to change units and will be out money. Absolutely love Tamera! She is a outstanding manager and goes above and beyond for renters. She's made stressful situations much easier to deal with. By far the hardest and best worker here.
However this new guy that started like 3 months ago isn't very customer service oriented. He's rude and talks to renters like he's above them & talks down to everyone, not helpful at all.
I have rented here for over a year here and thinking about moving my storage to elsewhere due to this guys disrespectful nature. I hope managment notices before renters start to go elsewhere.

I would give zero if possible. This is a nightmare I have been dealing with since February 25th and STILL do not have a resolution. I rented a unit off Google. Once I completed the reservation for the unit my conformation gave me this location. Despite me having picked the 112th location off Google, which is right down the road from where I was moving out of. I immediately called this storage facility and no one answered. I called the help center and they said they would contact the on-site manager to call me. She never did. I had to call 6 times before I got ahold of her on the 28th of February. She said she canceled my reservation and I would see a refund in 3-5 business days. I was going to go rent with the 112th location but the terrible customer service at this location sent me elsewhere.
3-5 business days comes and goes and I haven't received a refund. So I start calling again. She NEVER answers my calls. I call the help center, they try to call her, she NEVER answers. The help center has sent her 7 messages to call me. There are 10 notes on my account saying I've called and need to be called back. Finally a call center employee suggested I email upper management. So I did that on March 20th, 3 weeks after I was told it would be 3-5 days. I got an email back the next day saying someone was reviewing it and would get back to me shortly. March 28th, still no response. I email them again, I again get a response saying it's being reviewed by a manager and I will hear back soon and they're sorry. It's April 3rd and I still haven't received an email back. This manager has still never called me. I moved overseas and am now having a local family member go down there.
Worst customer service experience I've EVER had. I've never even been to the place, never picked up a lock. When she told me it was canceled and I'd have the refund in 3-5 days she assured me that would happen and it was being processed.

I went on February 14th and my time was limited. I had less than 1 hour before closing & the sweet lady TAMARA! She was SO HELPFUL & PATIENT though she had customers coming in and out of the main office asking questions and needing help.
