There was a miscommunication about me needing to buy a lock from the kiosk, but not actually needing one in the long run. I just spoke with Kim and without any other questions or doubts, she told me to bring the lock in and she would make it right. Love great customer service! Thanks Kim! ... Read more

This location is great in the beginning. As soon as you need help with anything, they ghost you and don't return calls. There is no other way getting a hold of them except by phone and they're really good at avoiding you. When they need something from you though, they're on it like stink on poo. Need help with app? Sorry, no call back. Consider a different storage, you've been warned! The best thing I did was move my things out to a different, better, storage place with actual customer service. ... Read more

Easy-to-use website and low prices in the beginning. Whenever they raise our price too much, we switch to another unit. They're great for short term storage (six months to a year) but there might be better places for long term. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 801 North Mildred Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 801 North Mildred Street start from $24 and can go up to $625 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
