Sure, here’s a clear and natural rewrite with a human tone: ? My items were stolen from the unit after someone broke in. The manager refuses to take any responsibility, even though I paid for insurance through them. He hasn’t provided any camera footage or updates. Honestly, this has been the worst storage experience I’ve ever had. ... Read more

If you want to keep your belonging nice and safe don't store them here! They have rats and are aware they have rats. When I first mentioned noticing some rat droppings in my unit the staff then handed me some rat poison they had handy and had me deal with the problem my self. I asked about pest control coming to my unit and they were not helpful with that. The staff absolutely did not care about the situation and refuse to compensate for thousands of dollars damaged belongings. Especially the sentimental stuff as well that's priceless. I had to spend weeks sanitizing the things that I cared about. Absolutely worst experience with storage I've ever had top to bottom. ... Read more

RATS! RATS! Do not store your belongings here! Do not waste your money. All of my belongings were destroyed by rats and the company did nothing about it but hand you rat poison to put in your unit that made the situation even worse! Called and complained and they did nothing for compensation at all. Lost literally everything I owned and pretty much paid rent for the RATS. The RATS crapped and urinated on everything.None of my belongings was salvageable. And of course since they give you rat poison, expect dead rats in your unit right after. Beware of this storage place! ... Read more

I would never store anything here ever. The management of the property is horrible. Especially rodent control. My insurance company didn’t cover rodent damage to my property. Public storage would not accept responsibility for any of the damages unless I paid for their insurance. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1235 South Sprague Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 420 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1235 South Sprague Avenue start from $69 and can go up to $649 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
