Very personable, remembers their customers, came right out to help get us in the gate when we didn't understand the code system. I've rented from many different storage outfits, and believe me when I say they are different! I would recommend highly! ... Read more

We utilized this storage unit for the last 6 months and never had any issues. Every interaction we’ve had with staff was positive. Today the manager was extremely helpful with us closing our account since we are moving and no longer need a storage unit. Highly recommend this place for your storage needs! ... Read more

We have had a storage unit here for 6-7 years and we have never had any trouble with the management. They are very ducky and call if we're late with a payment to remind us BEFORE the late fee would be added. The prices are reasonable, on par with other places..I check every year. All units are drive-up-to. They are not climate controlled and there are no outlets inside the units or out so if you come after dark you'll need fully charged flashlights, lantern and/or you can do what some of us do and aim our car headlights (highbeams) in there. They do a good job with keeping all types of pests away because I have not seen anything in or around the units but I have at home! If I had to complain, I would ask for longer hours to come and go, however, it's already 8am until 10pm. The place is very well lit and there are security cameras everywhere, so I feel safe. I would highly recommend Secure-IT Storage on Sprague, across from Ironhorse. The new Secure-IT Storage on Broadway near Walmart has climate controlled units. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Secure It Self Storage - 11018 East Sprague include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
