By far the most money hungry storage facility I've ever rented from. Made the mistake of moving here because of cheaper prices- or so I thought. From the very beginning, I was being mischarged on not one, but two units worth of extra insurance even though I provided my own renters insurance. Got that fixed, no big deal, technology sucks, I get it. I went through an extremely rough patch financially, was legit homeless and unemployeed, communicated this- still charged tons of fees worth more than the units themselves, made it even More difficult to catch up on, cut my locks and charged me 100$ each for doing so. I get it, y'all got a buisness to run, I bit the bullet, paid the fees, couldn't have all my possessions sold. Finally got down to one unit, got on autopay to avoid ever having these fees again, and what happens? Somehow that magically doesn't go through. Even though there's money in the account. Charged a lein fee on the 16th, when it even says on the invoice that it won't be charged until the 21st? Hard to catch sneaky fees thrown in when you work during buisness hours. And now suddenly these are irreversible fees, like it's my fault the technology failed us yet again lol. I'm getting really tired of the lack of empathy and customer service, my emails being ignored once they decide I'm beyond their assistance. I don't understand why it's such a crime to give your customer you'd like to keep long term a credit towards their account to make life a little easier, not even a refund. Oh and don't try to move out of a unit early, because you're just gonna have to pay for the whole month anyways. Used to recommend this place, but save yourself the headache and just go elsewhere. ... Read more

Horrible customer service. So they called a few weeks ago and stated they would be needing all rv, cars, boats exetra to be moved out by June 1st. No big deal at all about 6 weeks notice which is short but still plenty of time. I get it. You’re going to make more money on extra units than parking… SMART BUSINESS DECISION. However they proceeded to call me twice a week to “remind everyone on the list” again no big deal but then the most recent call they said they would be calling daily. This was only a day or two after billing me for the month. Went ahead and moved out early and am yet to be reimbursed the prorated amount for essentially the entire month. Make money? Absolutely upset existing customers in the process, flat out stupidity. -5 stars also saved money at the new place sooooo thanks for that! ... Read more

I receive an email statement for monthly fees but cannot pay the bill and be assured of the amount being charged because I am not an authorized customer? I set the account originally, I receive the bill monthly, and yet I cannot pay the bill personally by phone and be informed as to how much is being charged to my bank card. This felt like I was giving a blank check to a company who didn’t even know where the storage unit is located. Unprofessional, unhelpful. ... Read more

Brenda is amazing. People don't have to go out of there way to be helpful and kind but she did. I couldn't sign the forms online and she walked me through it at the office. My gate code didn't work she was nice about it said sometimes that happens when you sign up online she got me a new one I couldn't get into my unit (simple thing I was doing wrong) she met me at the unit and graciously let me in. All the while with a bright beautiful genuine smile and kindness that you don't even get from friends or family. Thank you Brenda for being so awesome. Clean facility with excellent security and a great location. I'd love it if there was a turn lane there or at least a middle lane. Thats a bit scary. ... Read more

Upon check-in, the office was organized and clean, air conditioned, and the customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. The storage unit was extremely clean and well kept. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at StorageMart - 16715 East Trent Avenue include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 900 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
