Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 20065 15th Avenue NE, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I first want to say Thank you to Mike! Without who i would have several things involving a tremendous amount of stress which is very bad for my physical (and mental) health. I won't get into that rarher I want to explain my reason for changing my review; This is because after I posted my original review a couple of days ago i received a phone call the next day from Mike who is a manager at a different location. Apparently this is a common problem at this location. The reason being (i could be mistaken about this) i think he said it due this one having a kiosk rather than a proper front desk with a receptionist, and the kiosk being answered by a random person anywhere in the country. Also he apologized for the stress and aggravation this has brought on me, besides the fact that this was in no way his fault, (the latter are my words not his). He was further able to pause the unreasonable increase in the amount of rent I'm being charged for 3 months. During that time he said he would help me find the smaller unit that i had originally reserved. Unfortunately he was unable to rectify the $60 credit i was promised and did not receive per the promotional offer I rented the unit under. All this is took into consideration to change my initial review from essentially 0 to 3. You who are reading this should know that if i could i would happily give Mr. Mike 5 stars. Since it was he who helped me with this and not someone from the location where i rented my unit i most likely would not change original review, and i would strongly recommend going to a location with a receptionist in person as this kiosk business leaves far to much room for mistakes or worse. (End of edit) -----------------------------------------(original review); My experience with this place is that it is 100% tring to con you, rob you blind at every step, and avoid any real time correspondence, over the phone or otherwise unless your renting. My nightmare with this place started the very day in reserved a unit that was by a promotion supposed to cost $1 for first month and $60 a month thereafter. When I got there the woman speaking over the kiosk said that the one I reserved was not available, that there was a different unit but I would have to pay the full amount however I would be credited the next month. I never received any credit only a bunch of late fees due to my waiting for someone to return any of my many phone calls in which I left messages explaining what was going on and basically begging someone to please call me back. Oh yeah and im paying $20 more for my current unit then the one I originally had reserved and now after I had pretty much decided I would just except that i got scammed and pay the extra $20 a month i hadn't planed for and really can't afford now without telling me, (because like I said they avoid talking to you like the pleage) they decided to charge me ANOTHER $30 A MONTH!!! Now I they have forced me to take action. If anyone knows where I talk to someone that deals with these unscrupulous businesses I would appreciate it very much! Also if one the management or the owner who seem to be quite helpful referred to in other reviews i have read here, would like to reach out to me that would be great too. ... Read more

Had a storage here for 1 year.. Started at like 90 bucks, and it has escalated to 170 bucks since then. The hallways for the indoor ones are full of huge bumps that their 20 years trolleys have a hard time with, if you can even find one. The elevator was broken for the longest time. The app that let's you open doors remotely doesn't work, but you'll still try. The app bugs out a lot of the time, and you'll probably have to change your password with rep help, atleast 5 times. Never missed a payment. When I went to cancel the storage unit, after I cleaned it out, they're still "unable" to do anything about charging me. So I'll have to pay for another month just to cancel it. Also, there's no real people on site to talk to if you have trouble. Folks, go the extra mile and go to a local storage place. I got screwed, you don't have to. ... Read more

I must be honest, my first experience with the Public Storage was rocky when I went to the office during business hours and could not talk to someone. However, Mike and Jason, did a fantastic job explaining the co-management of the two Shoreline locations, they were friendly, helpful, and very professional. It was their people skills and positive attitudes that turned me into a customer. I get it, now days everyone expects instant results, instant service, instant responses but at the end of the day we have to remember we are dealing with other humans that have responsibilities and schedules of their own. Besides, the online system can answer 95% of the questions you could have and I was able to setup everything online (kuddos for the app, so much easier) Thank you for following up after my initial call, I look forward to interacting more with you guys in the future. ... Haley helped me rent a storage unit yesterday —she was the most helpful and competent of any of the employees I have ever dealt with at Public Storage!! We ran into several paperwork roadblocks and she instantly had a way to solve them and she put in extra effort to find the specific unit i needed. You will be lucky if she is on shift when you need help with anything. Thanks Haley!!! You’re the best! ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 340 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 20065 15th Avenue NE start from $60 and can go up to $595 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
