We used Skagit Self Storage while transferring out of state and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The property is very secure, the units are functional and clean, communication with staff was easy, and all of our possessions were exactly as we left them; crucial factors when you can’t be close to your belongings. We ran into an issue where we accidentally forgot our key states away while trying to move out, and the younger gal working there (so sorry I forgot your name!) was so kind and accommodating while we sorted out a locksmith. She even shuttled me up to the office to use the bathroom, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Eventually we got everything figured out and moved out before the gates closed. Between the wonderful staff, fair rates, convenient location between upriver and I-5, and the secure nature of the facility, we definitely recommend Skagit Self Storage ... Read more

Large, convenient and safe lot. Easy to navigate 26 ft trucks and pickup truck-trailer combinations. Unit was clean and weather tight. Paying online or in person was easy. Very convenient off major highway with two entrances, one dedicated. We stored our arcade overflow during convention season. Will likely use again. Thanks! ... Read more

Was great until Pamela started working there. She isn’t friendly, she will have due dates mixed up with other tenants and likes to threaten you with losing your belonging when she does this. We definitely wish we were not in a position to where we need an extra large storage unit or we would be done. Definitely call everywhere else first. Sunset storage is amazing. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Skagit Self Storage - 1320 East Moore Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 560 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Skagit Self Storage - 1320 East Moore Street start from $125 and can go up to $475 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
