Super convenient if live in the area. Jim is a nice guy and made it easy to get set up and to check out. I rented a 5x10 for about a year while I was out of state and was able to pack all my stuff from my studio apartment including a bed with no problem. They have two large parking stalls in front of the building and every time I’ve gone there was always at least one open. The location feels very safe and secure (UVillage). I highly recommend here if you are looking for a place to store your stuff. ... Read more

At this location today I called customer service to lease rental storage space, after receiving reservation confirmation. The property manager calls me to finish setting up my move in date set for today. When I went in five minutes later a customer walked in requesting my unit. The autopay app wouldn't accept my payment, the manager wouldn't accept my payment. Then was told it's no longer available as he just shut me out and called me rude names and rented it while I stood at the desk to a customer who just walked in asking to rent the unit I had reserved in my reservation. Discrimination against a displaced homeless person isn't acceptable behavior and shouldn't be tolerated by any big business corporation as a acceptable business practice. ... Read more

Standing outside the Rental Office for 20 minutes, no one is in the office to help. It’s Monday 4:30 pm, no sign shows it’s close, and call the number on the door, transfer me to different property, that’s my experience. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 2746 NE 45th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 2746 NE 45th Street start from $98 and can go up to $611 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
