Read some helpful reviews of Northgate Self Storage at 10805 Roosevelt Way NE, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I’m here during business hours but nobody is at the desk or answering my calls. My storage unit is a small one that they subdivided a larger one out of, and for some reason they have locked it, and I can’t get my stuff. Not cool, been here for an hour already. Dude is probably in an empty unit taking a nap ... Read more

Bryan and Eddie were both very helpful and kind, even though I ended up being a bit of a problem customer that kept the van more than a day too long. I have rented from a lot of different places, this is one of the better self-storage/UHaul spots I have ever been to, just because of the competent, helpful, and friendly staff. ... Read more

Rented a uhaul from these guys. Needed it for about a week longer than my initial reservation indicated. They were very patient, and accommodating (unlike most uhaul locations, who would absolutely lose their minds over a 1wk rental turning into 2.) ... Read more

I called over 10 self-storage companies in Seattle and by the end of my research, Northgate Self Storage was the clear choice. They have the most reasonable prices, and no hidden fees (unlike pretty much all of their competitors. Staff was professional, competent, and helpful. Setting up my storage unit took less time than getting a haircut. Highly recommended. ... Read more

I have had storage units for years, both the large corporate type and smaller mom&pop type. This place is of the latter type, private, accommodating and with a very pleasant staff. They may not have the best hours since they do close a little early for my needs but the fact that there's always someone on site (the manager lives there) adds a level of security that makes up for it hands down. ... Storage units available at Northgate Self Storage - 10805 Roosevelt Way NE include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Northgate Self Storage - 10805 Roosevelt Way NE start from $75 and can go up to $350 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
