Read some helpful reviews of Northwest Self Storage at 6300 South 11th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Amazing facility. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly manager. I ask a lot of questions and everyone of them was answered to my complete satisfaction. The units and the grounds are kept in immaculate condition. Never an issue entering or leaving and someone is always there during hours. ... Read more

The facility and staff are fine, the cast is outrageous. I started renting there, and within 3 months, they jacked up the rent by $60, then 6 months later, it was another $30. Glad I am moving my storage as I just received notice that the rent is going up another 40$. My apartment rent hasn't gone up that much at all over the same period. The corporation is just greedy. $130 in a year is ridiculous. Be careful: they may offer introductory prices, but they'll increase them right away. ... Read more

We were long term customers and decided to pull out and move elsewhere due to absurd price increases. Company policy for rates to increase 25-30% every 9 months. It's a nice clean facility, however they overestimate their value. ... Read more

Charity demonstrates a high level of professionalism and approachability, actively listening to concerns and effectively finding solutions to any issues. Her assistance was invaluable today, and I appreciate the confidence that Northwest Storage has in her management of the office at their facility. ... Read more

Shoutout to Dorothy for taking care of me! I had to cancel my reservation due to miscommunication with the military. And Dorothy was able to refund my unit and told me to just come back whenever I’m ready. And fast track fews months later and I’m back! (currently have a storage open with this company) thank you Dorothy!! ... Read more

Don't rent here unless you love the idea of rent increasing by about 10% every 6 months or so. In 2.5 years my rent has increased by over 60% from the original agreed upon price. I also purchased my own insurance and twice have had to argue why I shouldn't have their in-house, expensive and inferior insurance added on at an additional cost. ... Read more

I appreciated how easy and helpful the company is. The rental space is very clean. I had to change to a bigger space and they were able to do it 10 minutes before we moved our stuff in. Very nice lady welcomed me. ... Read more

I’m so sorry but I forgot the lady at the front desks name ugh!! I was there Wednesday and she was so sweet and helpful, I was t sure what I wanted and she took extra time showing me different units. Super easy and seamless, she even came and cleaned the runners so the door opened smoother for me, very sweet!! Thank you ... Read more

My family had our RV there and all was fine for a while. One day someone used an account for the gate and took our trailer and everything in it. We didn’t even know for several days! Special things that we had in there were gone. The blankets my mom made for me and my little brother with her own hand after we were born, we can’t hold anymore. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Northwest Self Storage - 6300 South 11th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Northwest Self Storage - 6300 South 11th Street start from $70 and can go up to $522 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
