I rented four units here and was a customer for five months. I made my reservation from another state before moving, and had never been to this facility before booking, but the staff was so helpful and kind and gave me a really great rate that it made the whole process of moving that much easier. It is new and in a good location, and I never had a problem accessing the facilities when I needed to. My items were secure the entire time. I would not hesitate to recommend them. ... Read more

I don't leave many reviews, but this place is awful. Anyone could EASILY get past the gate, there's a huge gap under the gate that anyone could fit under. The hours are awful. Gates lock at 8pm?! Gives you minimal time in the evening, but we knew that moving in. The lady said it was possible it could change, but it didn't. There were weeds that grow into your storage unit, if you're into some greenery. But the real nail in the coffin for us was, we store our kayaks in our storage unit, we went on a camping trip which we took our kayaks with us. We were planning to cut our trip shorter than we'd like to because we had to get back into town by 8pm to get our kayaks back in the storage unit. We decided to call and make sure their hours were still the same. The lady who answered the call said the hours were still the same however she was able to grant extended access hours for a day to tenants and that she could grant our account extended hours access for the day. This seemed like a great solution for us so we could stay longer on our trip and not stress out about getting home. We got back into town around 9:30pm to find that we did not have access to the storage unit as we were told we would. On top of that we called the "24 hr emergency number" which no one answered. We left a voice mail and no one called us back, not even later on to apologize for their lack of response. Nothing. We then had to put our kayaks inside our living room or risk them being stolen over night until we could take them back the next day to the storage unit. We have since moved out of the storage unit and are done here. I do not recommend storing anything here unless you don't need to access your stuff ever and you don't mind weeds growing into your storage unit or having a completely unresponsive staff. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at South Richland Storage - 2325 Storehouse Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 24 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by South Richland Storage - 2325 Storehouse Avenue start from $45 and can go up to $200 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
