Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 16311 Meridian Avenue East, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Here’s a polished, positive review based on your notes: --- ?????????? Security at this Public Storage location is top-notch—one of the best setups I’ve experienced. The indoor units are clean, safe, and well-maintained, giving me complete peace of mind. The staff is helpful and professional, making the rental process smooth. My only minor suggestion would be to have more carts available for hauling items, but overall, it’s an excellent storage facility that I would highly recommend! ... Read more

Huge shout-out to Evin at Public Storage. I lost my key after move-in and needed a locksmith. Evin immediately explained the steps, shared what typical pricing looks like locally, and checked in to make sure I was okay throughout a very stressful situation. His professionalism, patience, and knowledge turned a headache into a manageable fix. Five stars! ... Read more

I want to start by saying.... when we first moved in. Everything was totally fine no issues. Everything was available. It's absolutely absurd that I paid over $300 for a storage this month, that has no facilities for people to go to the bathroom, OR WASH THEIR HANDS ... no garbage can, no dumpster. The manager said it's because people abused the bathroom too much. That's kind of the nature of the beast bud. I'm willing to bet corporate is unaware of this as I find it highly doubtful they don't have the budget to maintain the building. The irony is .... They're located right next to a honey bucket store, and they don't even have a honey bucket for people. Keep in mind, people travel from all over to use these storage units, they also hire movers to help them. Moving things in and out of a storage takes several hours. After paying $300 I should not be driving to target to go to the bathroom.... Are you kidding me? Plain and simple , that's crazy. You've got people moving in and out of these things all day throughout the weekend. People are paying $150+ each there should be a bathroom for them when the office is closed on Sundays. But even throughout the week ... People shouldn't even have to walk all the way to the front of the complex to ask to go to the bathroom in the office bathroom. Also the office bathroom has a side entry that's kept locked. The keypad is there so it's beant to be for people paying for storage but the codes are blocked so on Sundays you can't even use it. So keep this in mind when considering this storage facility.... You'll ether be holding your pee and dehydrating while moving so you don't have to go to the bathroom or driving to target to pee. Then people like myself who are cleaning out our storage so we can MOVE because of obvious reasons. Like being $300 (after 4 years they increase your rent every 12 months)..... There's no dumpster for garbage... So anything that's needing to be thrown out, we can't throw out. No dumpster for cardboard for anyone trying to organize their things outside of boxes.. Not even a trash can. So I highly do not recommend for anyone. Really improper management. Weather it's onsite decisions or corporate ones. It's not worth the money. ... Read more

Don't do it. Absolute rip off. I have had my unit for a little less than 3 years. Original rate was $177/month for a 10x10 indoor, ground floor unit, reasonable enough. But they just raised my rate, AGAIN, and are now charging $419/month with no explanation as to the increase of ~$1,000/year since I started renting. Use one of the locally owned places around here that won't take advantage of you like this. Proof of what they will charge you for a little 10x10 unit attached here. The rates they list on their website are misleading at best. Will be moving out ASAP. ... Read more

My husband and I recently decided to rent a storage unit and we chose Public storage due to the price and location to our home. The check in process was seamless. The day of our exam, they allowed me access to their app which controlled the gates, doors and elevators. When we got up to our preassigned unit the lock was available to us and we were able to load in our belongings. Very easy process and I would recommend to anyone! ... Read more

Easy and secure access, with all the amenities you could want in a storage facility. What really caught my attention today was the amazing staff member I ran into that made sure I had everything I needed and was very nice and personable! Evin is a star, I can tell he was simply happy to be of help and really made an impression on me. Big kudos to him, he definitely makes this a five star review! ... Read more

I’ve been with Public Storage for about 4 years. There is usually no employees in the front main office. It’s a hassle trying to get service here. I’ve only seen one lady once this year in 2024 doing her walks arounds. My storage unit has been stolen from multiple times and the insurance that needs to be paid for from Public Storage doesn’t do anything about it either even when I was locked out from my unit for about a couple of months and someone stole my entire unit. They did have to fix that situation. Since last year in 2023, my storage unit door has been getting additional vandalism markings. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 16311 Meridian Avenue East include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 16311 Meridian Avenue East start from $29 and can go up to $372 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
