If I could give us zero star I would. The customer service at this location is unheard of. I ordered a trailer that she had in stock from U-Haul but had zero way of attaching it to my car because of the weight of the trailer. She refused to help and canceled my order while I was standing in front of her. Every time I have rented a U-Haul trailer in the past the business renting the U-Haul secure the trailer to my car. I was under the impression that is liability to the company renting the trailer if it falls off my car from my lack of training to secure the trailer. Don’t waste your time with this location and I can’t imagine renting space from this sort of customer service. Buyer beware with this location ... Read more

They discriminate against service dogs Dirty, leaky, the people that work there are a bunch of liars, they threatened to evict other people because one of their tenants that knows another tenant, had problems and wound up in the hospital for a long time and couldn't pay their bill. Mind you these two tenants are not married and do not live together. Even when they say they will make a payment arrangement, they lie, and put a double lock and eviction notice. The old lady that works there that thinks she owns the joint, won't give out the name of her boss or a way to contact them when you have a real problem. She thinks she owns the world. Everyone I know that has a unit there is looking to get out right now, zero Stars, and I will recommend everybody else pay a higher price so that they can get a decent place to rent ... Read more

Yikes, this place is shady. I know they have a lot of breakins, but I called to ask if they had an issue with their temp regulators, and the woman that answered was vicious and then hung up on me. Your stuff is definitely not safe here, but if you like giving money to people that treat you like garbage, this is the place to go, or Walmart. ... Read more

Arrowood Mini Storage is one of my all time favorite locations to rent trucks from! These guys have a wonderful staff that's very kind and helpful. We are a local moving company that has done multiple jobs here and they have been more than pleasant to work with. One day we even had a issue at the facility where my guys had a oversized load that had damaged the peace that goes on the ground to open the gate. they could have been very upset. but they were very kind and respectful and worked hand and hand with my movers to fix the situation.. great location for all your moving needs.. Thank you, Justin & Team J&S Movers ... Read more

If u don't care about being disrespected or about having the manager ( Linda) not having any kind of communication or people skills- just lacks the common knowledge of how to be courteous towards people & decides to create fictious stories about customers just to run their name into the ground?? Not sure why she gets off on that b.s...?? But be prepared to pay extra fees if ur in the gate after hours- $10 per half hour.... Payments made payable towards cash only and u will be locked out of the unit if u can't pay the fees from the day after ur being afterhours/by the next time u show up to the unit . Pretty sure that now they will make the fees part of the contract that is initially signed upon getting the unit to begin with because of my story here . And the owner really shouldn't hire people like that to be management . ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Arrowood Mini Storage - 6530 SE Mile Hill Drive include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
