Always had good communications with the OFFICE AND STAFF. When I returned to pick up my Cargo trailer and had a flat tire the Maintenance employee's and Office assisted me to get me on the road. I see your company has expanded into the Puyallup area, I will gladly refer friends your way. Many thanks, Michael ... Read more

Researched all morning and loved the prices I saw here. We got a big drive up unit. The website is super clear to use, but I ended up having to call anyway. On the phone the man was extremely clear, conside, friendly, and helpful. For someone with anxiety, it was really great. When I got there I was continually surprised at the cleanliness and quality of their facilities. My stuff is safe and what is expected of me is very clear. Who can ask for more ?? ... Read more

I got a unit with this place this last summer and they have great communication with me regarding billing and the grounds are well covered by way of security. Unless you get a big unit which you can just back up to, it will be inside the building accessible only by your unit code and probably up the elevator which operates by your unit code also. It can be a hassle if you have tons of stuff. Price of security I guess but might be a lot for someone else. I like this place a lot better than UHaul and a lot closer to my home. ... Read more

Don't rent here. Rotten attitudes and very nearly stalking going on by employees, especially Mikayla. I thought the door was propped open one day, so I bypassed the code box. I am in good standing so I didn't need to do anything shady. She came up to my car window and knocked on it, yelling at me over and over. I drove off with her still yelling at me. Completely unreasonable. She walks by your unit when you are in there, looking in and pretending to sweep. I am a good renter so I know crazy when I see it. Don't rent here unless you want the iron thumb of the Desk clerk on your every move. She's literally awful. Public Storage down the road is much nicer and they don't try to catch you doing things you don't do anyway. Or, rent here and be treated like a criminal. I moved down the street and am much happier to be in a normal environment. ... Read more

The unit I have rented for Cap City Law has always been clean and pest free. We have been there for over 2 years. I have never had any troubles with the gate and when someone recently DID try to break into the place, a door was damaged but it was promptly repaired, secured and I believe nothing was taken due to the secure nature of the place. The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Don't let the 1 star reviews deter you. I have never seen any evidence of rodents and common sense clean housekeeping habits (like don't keep any eatables in your unit) will keep any pests from coming around. ... Read more

Filled with RATS and insects. I rent 2 large units at this place and you would think that with paying over $600 a month in rent here that my stuff would be safe from rats. everything in my unit is ruined. there are droppings everywhere and they have nested and feed through every box. they are able to travel along the sprinkler pipes that join every unit. there is no screen to prevent them from entering through the vent pipes. DON'T RENT HERE!!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Secure It Self Storage - 2225 SW Cooper Point Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
