Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 12425 NE 124th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

All locks were cut in the section of my unit my belongings were stolen including all my life's pictures of every birthday for my daughter whom in now 36 all my pictures of all family my members. I got a bad case of covid when I was transferring to a home. They stole rugs, vintage eagle mirror, an entire kitchen pac three feet tall! I can't replace 95% of the stolen property. Kirkland authorities said this property has been robbed multiple times! There was an emergency number which was mine. I live 1 mile from this facility at the bottom of 124th and 100th NO ONE FROM THIS COMPANY BOTHERED TO CALL ME ABOUT THE THEFT! Public Storage did not follow protocol. I only found out because a good samaritan found my name in a case strewn up on Capital Hill in Seattle. Public Storage says they are not liable for any theft of any kind. Renters Beware!!!!! ... Completely insane rental rates now. They give you 30 day notice to sky rocket your rent to an unaffordable amount then dont care if you are disabled and low income and can’t do anything about it and have no mercy and won’t help. My rent is now almost $300!!! It was $75 when I moved in like 5 years ago. I’m disabled, my storage rent is now more than my actual rent, I only get $1k a month. Near $300 is now completely unaffordable to me, and of course I can’t reach anyone to talk about it on a wednesday afternoon! Even the company’s online chat says no ones available all day after I get this email. I’m furious. Last time they raised the rent over $50 with short notice they refused to give me an extra month to move my things as a disabled low income person. So I’m sure no one will care this time either. Now I actually can’t do anything, I’ll be out of state half the month next month so I won’t have time to move my things and find help, I won’t have the funds to get another unit same month to move to, in fact I never will have the funds to rent 2 units at the same time to move my things without someone’s generosity so this is just great ?? They also never seem to have anyone in office at this location and after I changed my name over 4 years ago this is the ONLY business that refuses to fix it without going in person to show them my ID since they refuse to use email to do anything, so this is 4 years later the last thing in my life that STILL has my wrong legal info. No ones in the office ever to deal with it! I hate this place, I hate this company. They are now so $$$$ and for what?? 0 customer service and 0 compassion and understanding that sky rocketing rental rates with 30 day notice can ruin someone when you are RENTING a place for your things ?????? -Oh yeah and my light bulb in my unit has been out for a couple YEARS now and idk how to get help with that. Can’t see in my unit so that’s been fun! The ceiling is so high I would need a very tall ladder and again, I have a disability- so idk what to do for that either. Can’t seem to get anyone to help me at the physical location. Now I have to figure out how to move asap and in the dark unless a friend can help with the light too. ... Read more

My adult children and I shared a 10 x 15 for seven years. We decided to go through all the boxes to see what we could donate so others could enjoy the toys, appliances and electronics. We cleared out a large area and decided to inquire about a smaller unit. James, the Property Manager, was very helpful in finding us a 10 x 10 and did all the transfer paperwork quickly and efficiently. He mentioned that he was new to the business but his knowledge and great customer service skills were that of a seasoned employee. We are happy and satisfied customers. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 12425 NE 124th Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 37 to 350 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 12425 NE 124th Street start from $82 and can go up to $415 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
