I don’t know where to begin…Norma was the best part about my experience. I went through 3 storage units trying to find the right one. Norma went above and beyond and was so patient during the whole process. If it wasn’t for her kindness I would have just gave up and went to another company because I was so frustrated, tired, and defeated but she never gave up on trying to help me and I am very grateful. I will never use another storage company. Thank you so much, Norma. ... Read more

I had a great experience with Norma. She was super friendly, thorough, and thoughtful of her customers. I enjoyed every second with her as she secured my 10x10 storage space. Definitely recommend Kent’s Public Storage location & especially Norma’s excellent customer service. If I could add another star for my experience I would have, but it stops at only 5. Thank you Norma for a great experience. You made me feel welcomed which is one aspect that most business are slowly losing. Keep up the excellent work. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 10434 SE 244th Street include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 10434 SE 244th Street start from $61 and can go up to $180 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
