I have rented from this guy for a number of years now & every time I have to talk with this guy it always ends up with him being a jerk. Yelling at me, or talking down to me. One comment he made was" do I speak English? " He is a jerk! He has threatened to kick me out for not responding to him immediately. His office ppl r great but I will be looking for a new place. The hassle with him isn't worth it. ... Read more

OK first the lady at the front desk is amazing and super helpful and very nice she made me feel very welcome. And this place is huge and convenient entry ways all over so no matter where ur unit is u won't have to walk far and u won't find a better price anywhere and here's the best part they give u a free brand new paddle lock to keep and its the heavy-duty ones that cost like $20 in the store. I wouldn't bother looking any further for a storage unit cuz it don't get any better then this. Hope this helps . ... Read more

You have had my contact information for 5 years that I have rented a unit from you. From what I'm hearing you have failed to update an address or phone number for me for those five years although your staff has managed contact with me and my wife for all five of those years until recently when certified mail was sent to an address I've never resided in the time renting our unit from you. Our number never changed yet communication on the number was never made no call, no messages, no emails nothing! A couple months ago we were there got in the unit and were told we had missed a payment which was false we had proof of payment having cleared our bank however your paperwork and receipt of payment failed on your end or was lost we never got a straight answer being told there was no way for you to find or confirm whether or not it had or hadn't been made on your end we needed to prove it when we had payed and we're never given receipt. Thank goodness for bank receipts right? So now we spaced a couple payments it seems which after five years come on really? We've always made right, always paid whatever fees if ever late, you've always gotten paid no matter what for five years now! Suddenly you can only send certified mail to an address you have been told countless time we don't reside and don't receive mail, not our billing address we've given you a dozen times and not a phone number that's still unchanged 5 years and counting you've been given the same countless times you've been giben and spoken to us on! And now you've auctioned off priceless irreplaceable family keepsakes and heirlooms as well as what was in my estimates what had to be about 10k worth of furniture appliances and other items for what added up to 3 maybe 4 hundred dollars that would have been gladly and imediately payed with late fees had you actually done the job we were paying you to do and had actually been meaningfull in making contact with either me and my wife thru an address or phone number you should have written down or updated in your system some time in the many many years we have payed for your services!!! Sorry to say I'm dumbfounded, insulted, and obviously see no excuse for the inability to process a customers information into you files, something as simple as their contact info you've contacted them at for years!!! I'm not sure where I go from here or what my rights are bit this is unacceptable behavior and I feel targeted by the employee we questioned not having receipt of payment having pushed for the auction of our unit. We have also had an occasion in the past visiting our unit that we found it without a lock having not been there for several years and consequently had to purchase a new one not knowing how long it was unprotected nor able to completely investigate as to what could be missing as it was packed side to side top to bottom front to back! I suppose that should have been our sign to move our belongings elsewhere and we are to blame for not having done so as we now see our trust in your business was misplaced! ... Read more

Great storage facility. The staff is very nice. The prices for units are more than fair. The facility is clean and secure. They have large garage doors that you can pull into and unload/load so you aren't out in the weather. They also have different sized carts available for use when moving your stuff in or out. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storageland - 108 West Columbia Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Onsite Manager, Security Camera and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
