This place an the place down by Smith St. I believe - are both under new ownership , the guy named David with the truck is the guy that manages both of them . My family rents at this property currently an since David took over management- we have recommended 2 neighbors who have both rented there now and one at the other location also. We couldn't be more impressed with someone's ability to turn something like these properties around - as we are with this manager. This place has undergone quite a bit of work especially as far as security goes.... The place is now fenced with a keypad gated access - 24 hour surveillance & Yet prices still remain at a pretty decent price here. I'm quite satisfied with my rental here, an plan to continue as long as I remain a local delta resident & am so thankful for the hard work that guy does to run this place . We've driven by numerous times an caught sight of him cleaning the place / mowing or leaf blowing ... well into the evening picking up broken furniture an trash dumped there ... who knows if even a customer of there's was the culprit - still we catch him there handling it himself regardless an has made it and the surrounding area look an feel so much nicer an safer for the occupants who rent here as well as the neighbors . Hopefully the company that bought this place recognizes what a huge difference David has made for everyone since running it because it's truly night an day . Even his interactions weve witnessed while on sight , with folks clearly down on their luck , is always so respectful an im sure the grace he shows them while remaining firm in the expectations and rules - plays a big role in how this place has been treated lately & is unmatched especially compared to others weve witnessed in the community . Such a joke, for example - reading about that delta association member mentioning this place turning around as something they are due credit or recognition for ...people who rent here or live by know what a huge change this hard work has brought to this community and we couldnt be more thankful for everything ...David...has done! As a local Delta resident - current storage tenant- & greatful ... humble ...community member... - we highly recommend giving this place your buisness an plan to continue ours with them for as long as we remain in this community . Thanks David! ... Read more

I rent there currently. The neighborhood is filled with nice people that report any weird activity. The big storage rooms, that are not gated, are 24hours. I do a lot of buying and selling on the internet and it's nice being able to stop in anytime and check my merchandise. The owner is very nice (the new one) even after stopping by to tell me that the neighborhood watch reported suspicious activity. Which is my fault. (I work online overseas so the nightimen3k3ii3 ... The owner had people living inside the storage units. We got behind on rent (30 days) I believe it was the owner would go into the unit and take what ever he wanted. I say that because there was never any forced entry. We lost a lot of family heirlooms. Not to mention my grandson 4 wheeler. DON'T USE THEM!!! ... Read more

I don't rent here, but a friend does, which i guess is why Google asked me to review. I am comparing this to Public Storage which i was almost conned into purchasing. Both have outdoor shed style units with aluminum walls/roof & will not provide protection from humidity or heat. However, unlike Public Storage this place does offer electricity hookup at no extra cost & units are roomier in height. There is no mold odor either like at PS and its privately owned & he doesnt force you to buy insurance like PS & Cascade Storage & presumably others do. He pays $250 for 10x15. Units available 24/7/year round ... Read more

I rented a storage unit here about 3 months ago. Owner is very nice & professional. I feel comfortable coming here, anytime of day or night. Property is well maintained & clean. Deep shelves in unit I rented are a big plus! 24 hour access with electronic code entry and security surveillance. There are houses, apartments & a few small businesses, neighboring the storage facility property. Neighborhood is nice. I'm very happy with the choice I made. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storehouse - 1530 East Marine View Drive include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access and Unstaffed Location. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
