Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 9830 Evergreen Way, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I recently rented a storage unit with Public Storage on 8/18 and moved all our items out on 9/3. Throughout the process, I made sure to communicate with the front desk to ensure we wouldn't be charged and closed the account both in person and on the app. However, the app continued to show a balance of $76, which led me to call multiple times to clarify the situation and avoid any unnecessary charges. During one of my calls, I spoke with Madelyn, who assured me that she had discussed the matter with the district manager. She confirmed that as long as we vacated the unit before 9/16, we shouldn't incur any additional charges. I received a call from Quira today informing me about the remaining balance and stating that I would have to settle the balance if I wanted to rent a unit there. This appears to be an issue of neglect on the part of corporate employees being passed on to customers. I am not seeking anything for free, but I simply do not feel it is fair to pay for a service I did not even use for a full month. Despite making multiple calls and visiting the storage unit, I have found that there is no one at the front desk. I decided to visited Public Storage again on Monday 9/15 and had to wait in the parking lot for someone to show up at the door. After speaking with an employee to address the balance issue, they assured me not to worry as long as the locks were removed, the account would be closed, and there shouldn't be any remaining balance. This situation is frustrating as I've been actively trying to resolve the matter to prevent it from reaching this point, and unfortunately, it unfolded in the exact way I had hoped to avoid. Public Storage's lack of responsiveness to customer calls and voicemails has turned what should have been a simple transaction into a nightmare to deal with. The frustration caused by the lack of communication has ultimately led me to the decision that I will never rent from Public Storage again. ... Read more

Sells storage units AND doesn't make a effort/point ...to make sure the storage unit locks OR even closes or even has a hole in the door, to said unit, for you. to insure THAT your lock and key, that is issued, paid, and or assigned unit(s) ... OR even have actual physical, support outside of operating hours ....be wary. Because I've NEVER had this problem in other parts of the country, with neighboring competitors. And I already contacted after our support, with no luck, or resolve.. and I'm still waiting for a response from physical, management and staff, at actual location. ... Read more

Madelyn is very helpful. I rent the storage 3 years ago when I moved from my old house to my new house. However, I haven’t been there for 3 years. I lost my file and also my key. Madelyn was very nice to provide me all the information with a great smile on her face. Talk to her just like talking to my next door neighbors. Great employee representing your business. ... Please do yourself a favor and avoid storing your belonging in this place. I’ve had my valued items stored here since February, of 2024. I went back to check on my items last month and my storage lock was replaced with a new one - so I couldn’t open it with my keys. I informed the man at the front desk and he was no help at all. His solution was for us to pay almost $300 to hire someone to open the lock. Once we paid and had the lock opened our unit was a complete mess and our items were stolen. I wish this place would’ve taken more accountability and care for their customers items. ... Read more

I want to express my sincere appreciation for Angie, a wonderful human being. She has shown us outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to ensure our needs are met. Her compassion and understanding have been invaluable, particularly during a challenging time when we were facing financial difficulties. Her dedication and compassion have allowed us to continue storing our belongings in a safe place, and have significantly eased the stress of our current situation. I believe she is a true asset to your company. Her positive attitude and genuine care for customers are truly commendable, something which is severely lacking in this industry. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 9830 Evergreen Way include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 9830 Evergreen Way start from $34 and can go up to $418 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
