What customers are saying

Read some helpful reviews of Express Storage at 3007 Rucker Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I had an issue vacating. I live in Seattle and forgot my keys. It would’ve been the last trip and I asked if they had bolt cutters. I was told they would call the cops if I entered my unit without keys (that I’d never had an issue or late a payment in 3 years) so we had to drive home and wait for the next opportunity. I make the last trip and the lady wants to check my keys and make sure I’m not entering my own unit without them. This tells you what type of people they’re renting to now. I can’t give this business the 5?? review the previous owners got that knew you by name, let you use the bathroom, garbage etc. Just because you have a smile and talk nice? Doesn’t make treating customers like criminals ok. I don’t blame the lady. It’s the company policy. They should improve that application process if they really care about crime/theft. They might also start their own google business instead of using the old 5?? reviews that aren’t about them. ... Read more

Im active military. Best place to store your things with climate control. And they also have P.O. Box for rent. It's betterr than having one with the post office when deployed. The US post office closed mind mid-deployment cause I couldn't pay while I was deployed with limited bandwidth. ... Read more

They (Adina & then Angelica) "bent over backwards" to enable me to move-in .. & into such a great space, w/ built-in shelves, its own light, & low-amp AC .. & all for 1/2 the price of one at comparable agencies, which wouldn't have the shelves or any AC either \ OK, granted that the building & its plumbing is quite old, & very slightly musty; but all is kept clean, maintained, & re-painted; so for most storage to be around ancient slightly-dusty shelves, drainpipes, & rafters, is a negligible factor \ i myself plan to keep enjoying their 'extra-mile' services, for as long as i'm around \\ ... I have had multiple storage units over the years and this place is amazing. Its clean, well priced and the people are amazing. There are many units to choose from. No sketchy people that I've seen so far. Adina was the one that helped me and she was fast, funny and so nice. This storage company is the best place I've ever rented from. The only down fall is there is no other way upstairs other than stairs, makes a little tough to move big stuff. Other than that I recommend everyone to come here. Thank you Adina you rock!! ... My experience with Everett Downtown Storage has been a lifesaver to say the least. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to please. The spaces are good for just about ever need. Even if I did not need storage I would use them as a place to keep my hobby and artworks. Too bad they don't have a location in Redmond... or may be they do. ... Read more

I had an excellent experience here. The staff was very professional and accommodating! They were very flexible in finding me another unit when the original one turned out to be too small for my needs. Being able to use the move- truck was a lifesaver and having the free truck rental with move in only helped in keeping the move costs down. I can't think of anything more I could have needed from them, everything was provided and I felt well taken care of! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Express Storage - 3007 Rucker Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 110 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Express Storage - 3007 Rucker Avenue start from $6 and can go up to $214 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
