I've only been here a week or two now but so far it's been a great experience. I have a lot of experience renting storage units and while this one seems to have a lot of rules, they are there for a reason. The access hours are better than most places, 6am to 10pm and the prices seem to be lower than most other places. I basically had to get a storage unit because I also rent a shop out nearby and it was just becoming so cluttered with stuff I couldn't even move barely. I sell stuff on eBay, so I'm able to do my photographing/listing/etc at my shop and then when something is listed I can just move it over to the storage unit until it sells. It makes my life so much easier and it is definitely worth the price. I need to get it a little more organized so that when I go to grab an item that sold I don't have to take everything out of my unit trying to find it but that will come with time and organization. I highly recommend this storage unit, I'm sure you will find it suited to your needs. ... Read more

Heated indoor and pretty safe feeling as you need code to access your floor. I've never felt that my things were at risk. They have numerous rolling carts which makes smaller loads easily done in one trip which is super nice, numerous parking docks at multiple locations, two separate in front and one big in back makes unloading easy for vehicles and moving trucks. Staff is friendly for the most part and they do maintain the property to keep homeless away and cleaning any trash up that collects. No garbage which I get but not even small cans for everyday trash on property. Dumpsters are barricaded closed to deter dumping. So people just leave their garbage on the bays which is worse I would think. They don't even come close to filing their dumpster either so I don't see why they couldn't let tenants dump some trash. Prices are pretty comparable to most places and I think you get more benefits here. However they raised rent on me after the month I was late and without warning. Thought they were trying to charge me late fee again and they said no your rent was raised. I can't help but believe it was not a coincidence. Overall tho I've been happy. $185 for 10x8 unit inside heated unit with ceiling that's prob 15 feet high. Can access unit from 6am to 10pm which isn't bad. I'd like 24 hour access but I understand why they don't provide it. ... Read more

Welcome to Everett Storage Depot, home of the free move in truck! About that truck: Yes, they do have one, and just one... and you gotta call ahead to reserve it, or it likely won't be available. I was able to get in on a "first 4 mos for half off" deal... which I'm sure they run a lot, so try to get in on that. Even at full price their prices are on the low side of competitive. I can tell you I've paid twice as much for the same size unit in other PNW cities. They have only a few units available at a time, since it's a really nice, climate-controlled, heavily-surveiled building in a prime location right off I-5. They have quite a few of those Costco-esque pallet-style carts which make moving way easier. I've always been able to find one, even w/a lot of other ppl moving things. Another plus is their code-operated back-in parking bays that let you load/unload right out of the back of your truck. There are 2 bays, and I've always been able to get one. The ppl here are casual, down-to-earth, and helpful. After they rent you the unit they give you keys, help you set up your code, and just leave you alone. Perfect! No one has the keys to your unit but you. So if you lose them there is a hefty lock cut and replacement fee. Outdoor units are accessible 24/7, and indoor temp-controlled ones I believe from 6am-10pm. If anyone remains in the building past 10pm the police are immediately dispatched. Like, pronto. Be sure to leave before 10pm. They have adequate free parking in different spots around the building. A few spots in front, and a few more on both sides. They're solid storage units. My stuff likes it here, and I like being able to sell off my for-sale wares w/o having to hand out my home address. And also, not having a houseful of clutter. Lol ... Read more

This place is super huge and secure with custom codes to get in. They have carts, big elevators, and ramps to help get your stuff inside easily. They are rental trucks that can be free if you get a bigger unit. They give a free gift to new customers. Prices are great and they include locks. Plus they give you 3 keys to your unit. I'm sure their deals change but I got my unit for 50% off the first month and only $8 for insurance. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Everett Storage Depot - 2727 Maple Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 10 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Everett Storage Depot - 2727 Maple Street start from $54 and can go up to $539 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
