It’s storage. ??????? Nice you can drive up and open the gate via the app. You can prep a unit online. It’s generally not busy or crowded. However the company is greedy and has increased my ‘rent’ about 100% in less than two years. ( $220 to $425!? ) And they don’t tell you either. It just happens when they charge your card. This place is fine to use, but my advice is don’t stay long or you’ll see an increase every 8 months or so of about 50%. ?? I’ll be out soon and I won’t use Public Storage again. ... Read more

My rent started at $104 a month just a few months ago and now it's increasing to $156 a month starting in November. I know that is not a lot compared to what others may be paying, but that is a 50% increase. Am I to expect another 50% increase in a few months again? I don't care that I was paying a low amount for my unit, 50% increase is still unacceptable, regardless of the price in my opinion. If I get another increase like this, I'm packing up and looking for another storage place that is not Public Storage. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3624 Auburn Way North include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3624 Auburn Way North start from $29 and can go up to $291 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
