Great facility! Very convenient and good staff to work with! Jane is very nice, helpful and considerate of your situation. I had UPS leaving packages at their facility without informing me and she allowed them to be properly stored. I had my old address as the mailing address and the deposit check was returned to that place. Jane contacted the main office and followed up with me several times to make sure I received the deposit money. It is amazing work with a friendly person like her! ... Read more

HATE THAT I HAVE TO LEAVE EVEN 1 STAR ??Very unprofessional. I do NOT RECOMMEND at all ! My mother had a storage unit for 2 years. Was a very loyal customer. Always made her payments. I moved her out of state down to FL to help me with my children. (Staff of BSS knew of her move and had all contact information). Got a letter from Burlington Self Storage that i had until the 30th of August to make a payment... just found out my mothers belongings were auctioned on the 16th of August with no attempts to call me, no warning, no NOTHING ! had so many family pictures, belongings that came from deceased loved ones. Sheisty buisness. Keep close eye on your belongings ! ... Read more

I'd highly recommend Burlington Self Storage. The site is fenced in and locked but can be accessed at any time with a pin code. A good variety of units which all seem to be in good condition. Stored belongings here for two years and never saw any evidence of pests or water damage in my unit. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Burlington Self Storage - 1825 Shelburne Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 9 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Burlington Self Storage - 1825 Shelburne Road start from $35 and can go up to $220 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
