Read some helpful reviews of Essex Mini Storage at 3 Morse Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

My auto pay somehow got screwed up. The sent. Letter to an old address which was returned so they sent four more to the same address and then auctioned everything off. Irreplaceable child photos, diplomas, etc all thrown away. THEY HAD MY PHONE NUMBER and never bothered to call. Pure evil. Avoid this horrible business! ... Read more

Loyal customer for many years. Their auto pay feature stopped charging my card (I had money in the account) and I was never contacted. They junked all my personal, non-replaceable stuff without notice (including diplomas, degrees, etc). Unbelievable. Will be pursuing legal action. Avoid these lowlifes at all costs. ... Read more

I've had nothing but a good experience regarding the rental of the unit but I've had an otherwise atrocious experience when it comes to leaving the unit. I have attempted several calls over the course of the month which have all gone to voicemail. Any voicemails left have gone unanswered/unreturned. I visited in-person on 3 separate occasions to find no one in the office and no notice that the location was otherwise closed during their listed business hours. I have now emailed twice about the closure of my account with them, the first of which went unanswered. I will update this review accordingly if they respond to the most recent email (Update - finally got a response) ... Read more

Terrible experience, would not recommend. Made a reservation on a Thursday for a Saturday drop off, and was assured someone would be there to open unit for us. Credit card was charged. Drove 1.5 hrs with loaded trailer and arrived during business hours. No one in office, no one answered phone, no response on FB or via email…waited two hours, forced to get a unit somewhere else. Contacted them for refund on original payment method and was told their system didn’t allow this…had to wait for check in the mail. Very unprofessional and unreliable…disappointing. ... Read more

Jerry is always a joy to deal with. I dealt with Peter, today, who was very professional. I was surprised to see negative reviews. I have rented off and on for 15 years plus. Always had a fantastic experience. Just wanted to say that I am pleased with how I am treated at this establishment! I am going to be vacating, hopefully by spring, but their prices are fair and I've always gotten my damage deposit back with no issue. Please read the negative reviews, because I think they all had an axe to grind. I'd give them six stars, if I could. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Essex Mini Storage - 3 Morse Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Essex Mini Storage - 3 Morse Drive start from $55 and can go up to $240 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
