Read some helpful reviews of Jack Rabbit Storage at 1629 Merrimac Trail, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Attempted to give this place my business but their verification process totally fails. And they said that they have no way to do this in person. They are so worried about who is renting their units, however, they do not care enough to have anyone on site. I spoke with two different representatives that were clueless as to the technical issues. So I have zero confidence in this place safeguarding my property. Many other places available in which to give my business. ... Read more

Rented this unit for a year or so had alot of issues with mice and bugs I did notify management about the mice and bugs they told me nothing could be done about it So I set mouse traps in the unit and caught 5 mice to find out they mice where crawling on the beam structure of building going from one unit to another the white stuff in photo is the insulation on the ceiling that fell when the mice would crawl along The other issue was the billing you had to pay through there website not over the phone and had to be paid in full NO partial payments where accepted added a photo don't know if can zoom in to see all the mouse droppings ... The place is an absolute one of the most best choices for all your storage needs. At first I thought this was a good storage place, but as of right now I'm definitely having second thoughts about it. I'm a current customer, and right now there is a flea Infestation around my area and the hallway. I called several times to get this matter resolved and I'm getting the run around from the manager Cheyenne, it needs to sprayed before I go back in that place fleas are Disgusting and nasty and very hard to get rid of. I'm not a happy customer at all. It's like Cheyenne is avoiding my calls because she doesn't want to fix this problem she wants me to go back in the building which is climax control and take pictures of this Critters are you kidding me I am scared out of my mind. I thought customers were always right. ... Read more

I had a very positive experience working with jack rabbit. The two managers who live on the property were very friendly, they were always very accommodating - even with the smallest requests..I could not be happier with the service. Prices were very competitive to others in the area but it was the warm customer service that really won me over. I recommend them to those seeing self storage in the area. Keisha J. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Jack Rabbit Storage - 1629 Merrimac Trail include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Jack Rabbit Storage - 1629 Merrimac Trail start from $49 and can go up to $367 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
