DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PUBLIC STORAGE!!! THEY ARE DISREPUTABLE! They will increase rates on a whim giving out of state patrons only 30 days react and move out or pay them. If you don’t pay on time, they charge a late fee plus $20 to use a debit card to pay them plus $5 a day. BEWARE OF THIS PUBLIC STORAGE!!! They want your personal belongings to sell off for a profit. BEWARE!!! Go elsewhere to store your belongings!!!! ... Read more

Nightmare to deal with. Every month there is some issue with my payment, despite having a valid card on file. Being at sea, I'm not able to constantly be on the phone with them to sort out billing issues. After a late payment due to their inability to charge the card on file (of all my bills, this is the only company that can't seem to get it right), they cut my lock off and put their own on. When I'm able to get back and manually pay again, they charge me late fees and continue to notify me that i have to make an appointment to put my lock back on. this a facility with individually issued gate codes, even if there was a billing issue, why not just revoke access through the gate? There is absolutely no need to destroy a 30 dollar lock. I would have been happy to keep my possessions at their facility for a couple of years as long as they billed appropriately every month. But due to the unnecessary hassle, fees, and lock destruction, I'll be relocating to a privately owned facility. I would not recommend, especially for anyone who is frequently away. Update: made an appointment to meet with someone from the facility to access my space to move out. Took the day off to take care of this. Arrived at the appointed time and no one showed up. Called the help desk, waited some more and finally left. Later in the day I received a call that someone from the staff could meet me hours after scheduled. Don't keep your stuff here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4400 Princess Anne Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4400 Princess Anne Road start from $63 and can go up to $266 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
