Read some helpful reviews of Area Storage at 4588 South Plaza Trail, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was winning a storage auction and they waited until the last seconds to "cancel" the auction due to a listing error. I already know I play a dangerous game winning these units but these people are playing a dangerous game being shady with the auctions. Someone wasting their time on an auction that gets canceled due to shadiness might get mad enough to find out everything about the people that work there just like they should be doing with all the auctions they win. I know I personally look up everything about the people I win units from. I know one day I may get shot over it. I also know I'm a sociopath getting off on doing this type of work but I am not a psychopath. I hope they don't ever cancel an auction when a psychopath is involved or even just somebody with nothing to lose especially now that they have a casino AND people who gamble are 19 times more likely to commit suicide so hopefully nobody ever hits rock bottom and then ends up getting screwed over by area STORAGE. IT COULEND BADtrying to deal with this facility because they might come back at this facility with nothing to lose ... Read more

I needed something quick and close by. Ended up paying $160 for a 5x10 on the 3rd floor. My wife called a couple of places the same day and and got a way better deal. I asked for a refund since I hadn't set foot in my unit. Nope. Partial refund? No, sir. Nothing. "You signed a lease". There you go. If you're reading this just know that there are way cheaper places in town. I was foolish. Don't be like me. ... Read more

I have had only pleasant, positive, cooperative, and helpful experiences during my tenure with Area Storage. Michelle and Crystal both display excellent customer service skills and Michelle, with whom I have had the most contact since the beginning, has been exceptionally considerate in explaining policy, etc. Yes, it’s pricey, but worth it for what I get. It’s clean, safe, near my home, inside, and climate-controlled. ... Read more

Been having a really hard time and looked around at a lot of different storage facilities. Crystal helped me and gave me an honest price and size (another person at a "reputable" storage place straight lied about the size, showing me smaller units and claiming larger than it actually was, at a higher price...I didn't know any better). They are also very compassionate and work with you. Overall, a great experience and I'm glad I didn't go anywhere else. Crystal is awesome and I was so relieved when I came there. Best customer service I've ever experienced, %100, hands down. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Area Storage - 4588 South Plaza Trail include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Area Storage - 4588 South Plaza Trail start from $79 and can go up to $469 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
