We were exhausted from driving in from Georgia on New Years Eve and it was late enough that it was dark out, but we needed a space to store some things from the move. That's when we met Joanne --professional, courteous, and all-around lovely human being! We've been with Allsafe since the very beginning of 2023 and just moved out yesterday. Joanne was just as professional, just as warm, and just as kind as the day we arrived. Thanks a million, Joanne! And thanks for running such a top-notch storage facility. ... Read more

Plenty of storage locations in VA Bch...this one is absolutely TOPS!... Only problem is....the rates are so amazing, and personal service is above all others...This place is nearly always FULL.....like the BEST hotel. The Live-In manager (Joanne) has run this place for nearly 20 yrs...which says a lot about her, while saying TONS about the Owner! Military Discount?.....you don't need to ask....THEY ASK You! Cheers! ... Read more

We are current customers and were extremely happy when we found this location. (We have plenty of storage experience.) The price is fair and the property is clean. The manager was super thorough, clear, and kind. In today’s world of corporate greed it’s nice to have a company that’s in business for the people. We moved our things in and walked away confident that someone lives on the property. Found several security cameras which also gave us great comfort. When entering information into the code box it works well the first time. Nothings worse than old code boxes that keep you stuck there for prolonged amounts of time. So we we’re HAPPY about that. The lift gate isn’t crazy either - it goes up and down without cause for concern. The location is terrific too because our things are really close to HOME.. However, I can only give 2 stars because when I went back I noticed the LIGHT right at our unit was out. (Seems like basic common sense to me.) Not having proper LIGHTING makes bringing things in and/or out of the until unsafe and very frustrating. So I stopped by the desk on my way out and made this problem known to the property manager. I was told she was on her way out there. When I went back a couple of days later, not only was that light still out but I found only one (out of about 6-8) light working in our entire storage building! ?? I was disappointed. I’m still disappointed. I won’t let my girls visit the storage without me because you never know what you’re going to walk into. I wish I could rate this place 5 stars. I really do! But safety is of most importance especially at a storage facility. With so many people coming in and out. Because we’re moving things and don’t want to be injured or break things. Not to mention causing property damage. LIGHTING is important. There’s NO REASON for this problem when customers are paying. And I’m over companies not keeping their promises and collecting payments. Care about your people and TURN ON the lights PLEASE. ?? Thank you. ???????????????????? UPDATE: I am pleased to report a resolution. The impeccable property manager phoned and explained the LIGHTING issues and how the problem will be and has been taken care of. We are deeply grateful that our safety concerns have been addressed. Customer service at ALLSAFE SELF STORAGE is top notch indeed. Deserving a 10 star rating if that were possible. Thank you for being so attentive! It’s comforting knowing we’re with a company that takes action. ?????????? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Allsafe Self Storage - 2100 McComas Way include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Allsafe Self Storage - 2100 McComas Way start from $64 and can go up to $149 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
