This place is awful! We moved here a year ago from Mini Price Storage. Huge mistake. Cost isn’t everything! You get what you pay for! They go up on your rent in just 2-3 months! Especially if you opt out of the insurance they automatically add to your bill every month! I have two units and they did it within a week of me opting out of the insurance on BOTH of them! One unit the price is $71 online but they went up to over $100 a month on me now! There is no one at this facility EVER! You can never find a cart. Upstairs is so hot you can’t breathe and in the winter it’s freezing. So much for climate control! One time we found the thermostat removed from the wall inside the locked case upstairs! They have the temp set on 71-72 but it’s 77-80 degrees upstairs, sometimes hotter. They make excuses like “heat rises”. Funny, Mini Price Storage never had a problem. There is always someone at Mini Price Storage. The sliding doors to get into the facility have been broken twice and took over a month to fix. Justify to me why they need to go up on their price in 2-3 months when they can’t even manage their facilities properly. They lower the rent to get you in the door and then hike the rent up. Crooked as heck! ... Read more

Started off not even a year ago paying $31, then a few months later it jumped to $62 and now I got an email saying within a month it’ll be $99. NO! This is bad business as they know we move our things in the unit and it’ll be hard to move them out within 30 days notice especially with living out of town, busy schedule, financial situations, etc. I would not recommend this rental property. I understand prices can go up but not on such a small unit within such a short period of time. I wish I knew before moving my things in- have made arrangements to move them out asap. Not good business. ... Read more

EDIT - Thank to Laura and team for reaching out and working making things right. Originally what I thought would be a 5 star company has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. I recently received a notice of rent increase by over 40% after having moved in only 3 months ago... its a shame I will be looking for other storage solutions because I wanted to love Go Store It due to its location and what felt like an initial positive experience. I hope management will reach out to make things right, and I will update my review depending on this. ... Read more

Poor security and high-risk of theft as they WON'T FIX GATE for over a month! "Virtual lady" will not give adequate reason or time/date gate will be fixed and also claimed she has previously worked on automatic security gates...why she feels the need to assert false dominance...is still unclear, but what's clear is the gate is still broken 24/7. Go Store It advertises and states on website: "You’ll also enjoy total peace of mind when you rent from us, as we have a keypad-restricted front gate and require entry through our doors for all tenants." I DO NOT HAVE TOTAL PEACE OF MIND when the front gate is open 24/7 and not-restricting entry to non-tenants! Increasing rent from $130 to $180 despite no immediate gate-fix is also unacceptable, they are quick to communicate and give notice about rent increases but the only way I found out about the gate issue is when I would drive by or visit the facility based on increased anxiety and worries of my hard-earned belongings will be broken into or stolen, and still see the gate open. The only solution the "virtual lady(s)" provided would be to find another storage facility to use. ... Read more

I used a storage unit here for about 2.5 years. I only had one rent increase in that time which was a nice bonus, but during that time period the automatic doors were broken for about a year (this has been resolved now!) and when I went to close my storage unit as it was no longer needed I discovered that all of my items were wet and ruined if they were touching the floor. I asked the front desk staff if they knew anything about my unit flooding or leaking, and they said that the unit next to mine had but they didn’t think it had affected mine. I was told to file an insurance claim and was emailed the information but after filing everything for it, I have not been contacted in any way regarding my items. I was not contacted at all when the unit next to mine flooded either. As I left after cleaning out my unit, I passed another leak down the hall by the elevators and alerted the front desk staff about this as well. Just disappointed about my experience after staying with them for so long. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 27 Courthouse Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 27 Courthouse Road start from $38 and can go up to $168 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
