DO NOT STORE HERE!!!! MICE INFESTATION!! Our furniture was damaged and we purchased a third party "insurance policy" and it was denied because we didn't have rodent coverage, however, the manager of the facility told me that they didn't offer rodent coverage to anyone. They acknowledged that they had a problem due to food being stored in another unit. They did get pest control in but that was it!! Our furniture had mouse droppings and urine all over it and they wouldn't work with me on a refund for a couple mos rent or pay to have it professionally cleaned. The l manager in the office said I was on my own. Bad business!! Stay away!!!!! ... Read more

Be very careful renting from these people the manager is nasty. They don’t understand life especially while moving things happens. If you rent a truck from these people and run into an issues where you are late returning. They will report the truck stolen. If the truck is not there by the close of business. Like most successful storage companies they have a drop box. I recommend take your money somewhere else in the area. They are just horrible. No one wants to go to jail for a Moving Truck. They are not understanding and will not work with you in no way shape or form. The owner is nasty too. ... Read more

This is a very clean, neat, well organized, and secure storage facility. They even give you free use of a large truck for moving in. The staff is excellent - friendly, courteous, and efficient. They continuously upgrade, modernize, and repair their equipment and storage units. I have been a customer for I guess about seven or eight years in total. I highly recommend Advantage Self-Storage. ... Read more

These are the most inconvenient, inconsiderate, unprofessional people to deal with. It snowed 13in I waited until a week later on 12-15-18 hoping that the lot would be plowed and I'd have access to my unit. I drove a hour and 20 mins from my new home thinking i would be able to move out my unit. Once I arrived with the uhaul ($148 for 1 day) along with 3 movers ($120 per hour) I noticed that all the snow was pulled in front of my entrance door. Door number 12, my unit number was 535, the second door inside the climate controlled unit. There was NO SNOW in front of the fenced or the end of center units where there ARE NO UNITS. There where two guys who had access to their unit who tried to shovel a entrance but the snow was frozen hard. I stayed locally and returned the next day on 12-16-18 to speak with the staff about the inconvenience. The two ladies where both laughing as I explained the situation, constantly cutting me off as I spoke and asked if I wanted a shovel. I submitted a move out notice with intention to be out the unit before my move out date which is the 28th of each month. Due to pregnancy complications I wasn't able to move out then. I called today 1-2-19 asking for an accommodation since I noticed that on the 29th I received a pass due notice. Explaining to them that they had already cost me a waste of $268, that had I not been hospitalized since 12-20-18 until today I would have moved out. Besides that if my unit wasn't blocked I'd been out on the 15th anyways. Whom ever I spoke to both was not trying to reason with any type of promo rate and ordered I pay the full amount of $110. I wouldn't be so upset if there plowed would have pushed the snow at least 2 feet over so that I could've had access to MY UNIT. A whole empty fence but yet they allowed the plowers to block my entrance. I POSTED THE TWO PICTURES OF THE DOOR WITH THE NUMBERS 12 529-541 along with the next picture that shows how clean it was in front of the fence where no units are. I wish I would attach them with the comment ... Read more

If you ever HAVE to go here ask for Morgan. Everyone else has lead me to believe that they are racist with very poor customer service. I should have just said forget it months ago when one of the reps tried switching my unit AFTER Morgan set me up. Move out was horrible. Mackenzie Early, whom I had not met until then, was COMPLETELY unprofessional. After being caught up with her boyfriend at work she refused to sell me merchandise I needed to protect my items from the rain. She then locked me and my movers out and called the police. I had to set up another day with movers to return for the rest of my things. Management has been no help in the matter. I truly wish I never spent a dime here. May God continue to bless their lives though. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Advantage Self Storage - 1901 Advantage Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Advantage Self Storage - 1901 Advantage Drive start from $72 and can go up to $212 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
