This place is a great storage facility! We’ve had a unit at the Norfolk-Ernies Way location for the past 5-6 years, and they’ve always taken care of us. Just like today, we had an issue with our billing and Victor took care of us fully. Quick, fast and in a hurry! We highly recommend them for your storage needs. ... Read more

They have very small dolly’s, really not much help. Plus there is maybe three to use in the building. You have to go searching sometimes in the other bld to find one. I met this one older woman that made 13 trips to her second floor unit.Very sad if I had gotten there earlier I would have helped her. Went to office about issue and they said search the building next store. Really!!! Office staff is pleasant though?? ... Read more

Thank you both! ... Read more

Had a unit on the 1st floor and when you place your items in storage, it is with the expectation that they will be safe and secure. Mine went in rodent free and came out rodent infested. I had to throw away a living room set and a new queen set of mattresses because of rodent urine and feces. The rodents chewed through wire of my sofa so it was no longer operable. John, the manager was very nice and tried to help, however his manager couldn't oversee the fact that he had waived some fees when I had gotten behind and was sure to remind me that the fees were $300. However, my living room set and mattresses were worth more than $300. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 951 Ernies Way include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 951 Ernies Way start from $33 and can go up to $508 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
