Not impressed so far. We moved into a unit that did not have any accessible lighting. No pull chain and it’s so high up. No staff was available during our move in. Called the property manager and left a message asking if I could schedule a time to come in so the light could get fixed. Pull chain or something added. No response at all. So far. I do not recommend this location. ... Read more

I love this location. The ladies in the office are always understanding, respectful, and makes me feel more like family (well good family), or a friend rather than just a customer. Although prices went up which is out of their control, they still try to do whatever they can esp when hard times come into play and for that I appreciate it. Thank you so much Jasmine and Bianca.. ... Read more

This is an update to my earlier review of 1 star. I was disappointed because my rent kept getting raised the longer I had my stuff stored here. So I decided to move to a different storage facility. After I moved i was still charged for rent of 140 to my credit card. Today I am raising it from 1 to 5 star because I was contacted and notified my 140 was in the process of being refunded. And today my credit card receive refund if 140. loved to enter the gate by just using app on my phone to remotely open it. ... Read more

I just want to say Naya is AMAZING!!! She is the reason why I still believe customer service still exists. She is kind, patient, detailed, and resourceful with the information that I needed to finish renting the unit. She walked me there and made my day as Im going through so much right now. We just lost our place and feel devastated. She made me feel like I'm a part of society again. That is priceless. Thank you, Naya... God bless you!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 12600 Jefferson Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 12600 Jefferson Avenue start from $41 and can go up to $227 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
