Each time I have visited this property, I can't exit--multiple visits over the past two weeks and I can't exit. That's just wild. I have to get out of my car, crawl on the ground, roll under the gate, and enter the code from outside the property. When pulling up to the gate, no matter what I do it Will. Not. Open. Each time I've tried to call or locate the property manager, but there is never anyone around, even though the site says someone is always onsite. The day I moved in, the power was off and not one single person on the property could locate the onsite property manager. They said she locked the gate and just left the property. We moved everything into a climate controlled unit in the dark!! THE DARK. All of our phones died because we had to use the flashlight feature. It was incredibly frustrating and sketchy. One guy who was there moving his stuff said he put in a ticket with customer service and they said they would get back to him in 72 hours!! What in the world. That was the first of many times we had to do the roll under to exit. If moving wasn't such a pain, I would choose a different company to store my stuff. ... Read more

Kim is amazing!!! I had an issue with my debit card getting hacked so I was unable to make a payment right away, and I reached out to Kim for some assistance. She was able to resolve my initial request AND help me save money on my account! I didn't even know that was an option and she provided me with such great service and gave me information that will help me in the future. She really went above and beyond for me. Money is tight these days, and I really appreciate her taking the time to listen to my concerns and help me save money! Great customer service is unfortunately rare these days and it definitely deserves to be recognized! Thank you so much, Kim! I will definitely recommend Public Storage and Kim to anyone who may have a need! ... Read more

Enjoying my units at Public Storage. I moved here from another company and the process has been much smoother and the manager keeps the grounds clean and on point. UPDATE 8 months after posting a positive review for Public Storage, I moved out of the unit because they increased the price of the unit a few times and had me nearly $100 more ($213) than my initial rate. After reaching out to them about the increase in such a short period of time, they were unwilling to adjust the rate the I took my business elsewhere. I appreciated the accessibility/presence of the grounds manager, but I was very displeased with phone reps. Started great, but went down hill quickly ?? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 13601 Hull Street Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 13601 Hull Street Road start from $41 and can go up to $219 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
