This is one of the best businesses in our area for storage rental. The units are clean & you can get on the premises 24hrs a day. Which is very convenient if you can only move at certain times because of shift work. The people are very nice and courteous. I highly recommend this business. ?????? ... Read more

I rented a large unit from Acorn for over a year and paid 3 months in advance when ever my rental term was up. I NEVER received an invoice nor a receipt from the company -- instead, I had to remember to schedule the due date and call them around the due date. When I was able to reach a company representative on the telephone, they seemed to care so little about working with me as a customer as to be incredibly rude. Because of a planned move that had to be delayed by one month, it missed my attention to call them on the 1st of the month for one additional rental agreement. Through Lee & Associates, they sent me a threatening and rude LETTER date on the 6th. Nevermind that I'd never received any correspondence from them in over a year as a customer or that they had two different telephone numbers to reach me at OR that I had always been the one to contact them and literally beg them to take the time to record my credit card number. No, they'd rather posture and threaten for a bill that was one day late according to my rental contract as opposed to picking up the telephone to remind me. Guess they were doing their nails that day and didn't want to muss the polish. This company is rude, lazy and doesn't appreciate customers at all. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Acorn Mini Storage - 950 Acorn Drive include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager and Security Camera. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Acorn Mini Storage - 950 Acorn Drive start from $90 and can go up to $220 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
