Read some helpful reviews of Chesterfield Mini Storage at 11320 Iron Bridge Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I had a great experience with Chesterfield Mini Storage! From the moment I arrived, the facility was clean, secure, and well-organized. But what truly made my experience exceptional was the manager, Barry. Barry is incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely cares about his customers. He took the time to answer all of my questions, walked me through the rental process, and made sure I had the right unit for my needs. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really set this place apart from other storage facilities I’ve used in the past. It’s rare to find customer service this good these days. Barry made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and I felt confident my belongings were in good hands. If you’re looking for a reliable storage solution with top-notch service, I highly recommend Chesterfield Mini Storage and be sure to ask for Barry! ... Read more

The manager, Barry, is a complete jerk. Every time having to deal with him is a complete waste of energy. He is completely rude and interrupts you mid-sentence without intending to let you finish your statement. There is no way to pay rent online, so you have to either set up payments through your bank by snail mail check, drop off payment in person, or call in with payment. If payment is not received by the first of each month, the computer system denies you access into the gate at the entrance until payment is received. At that point, you are sure to receive a nasty earful from Barry. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. ... Read more

Everything was pretty good for the most part. The only thing i didn't like is one time I opened up the storage and all of out stuff had pollen on it everything turned green or had a green tint to it we had it for about 3 yrs and we had some a sofa, loveseat, and a couch in the back of the unit and when were about to move to our house it had mold and water on it ended up having to throw away very disappointed about that ... After being misled as to when I needed to be out and being locked out the day I came to clear the unit, I was forced to pay another months rent. Then after they wasted my time and my helps again by not taking the lock off I had to come back a third time to get my stuff. I was told they would pro rate the months rent. Then I was informed I would receive a check 4 WEEKS later. Well, it's been 5 and a half weeks and I still have nothing. Do not come to this place, Ample storage directly across the street was so, so much better that chester mini storage. ... Read more

My family and I had a storage unit here, TWICE..because it was close to home, we used this place for approximately a year. The first time we had our storage here; All of our mattresses and anything made of fabric was entirely ruined! We told "Barry", and he seemed helpful at first, and not by offering any money back, but by moving our items to another storage. Once moved, we had three same issue! So we simply moved an entire household of goods to another storage facility! Last year, we tried Chesterfield Mini storage again due to the fact that "Barry" assured us that he had straightened out the problems...seemingly so, we were happy for about 3 months; however...we moved some of our items a little at a time...noticing that when we moved into our brand new home that we had roaches, and a musty smell in all of our furniture and electronics. My wife is a neat freak, and we have NEVER had roaches in our lives. Giving the storage facility the benefit of the doubt, we did not say anything at first, however by trio number 3 to the storage to pick up some more of our stuff, we realized that all of our furniture and electronics were infested with roaches! Not to mention the nasty smell near this facility because it backs up to the Chesterfield County landfill! We learned a valuable lesson, and although some of our items we could salvage with about $1000 worth of exterminator services, and having to once again purchase a new mattress even after being assured that the moisture issue here was taken care of, and the smell from the landfill (the local dump) as well as the roaches, we absolutely cannot and will not be comfortable leaving our household items here again! The owner, Barry is very nice, But "Nice" doesn't help through moisture, bugs and the smell, that gets into your items and doesn't leave without costing you a ton of money! Please find another facility, that's not near a local landfill, and also where the owner, who seems nice, but obviously only cares about money and not your household items.. C. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Chesterfield Mini Storage - 11320 Iron Bridge Road start from $54 and can go up to $355 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
