Rodents everywhere! Units are not sealed, there is a gap of a couple inches in each corner, so rodents can come and go as they please, and people can reach into neighboring units. There's never staff to help with problems, like the elevator not working or the pass code box is down or the lights are out. We called several different numbers, never got a helpful human. ... The facility is generally great for a storage facility, but when there are issues they just don't have a plan or staff to do something. A few months ago, the elevators were disabled for an extended period, apparently due to improper or deferred maintenance. One time, I had to go upstairs and take the elevator down to use it because it couldn't be called to the first floor for some reason. Electronic building locks regularly fail. I can never get the electronic lock on the elevators to let me in through the app like it's supposed to. I have to manually enter the code. But, get this, the app has stopped displaying my code... so I had to find it and write it down. Twice I've seen the big drive-in doors broken or damaged--once it lasted months before being fixed. Employees are often unresponsive or not present. I once spent 30+ minutes trying to get the attention of the employee at the desk from outside locked interior and exterior doors. It was the middle of the day. And that gets me to today. See the attached photo. Two trucks blocking the drive-in. The larger truck is using all of the hand carts available and has stuff stacked around the elevators making them inaccessible to anyone else. Totally unacceptable. Where is the employee to intervene here? Again, not the first time this has happened. I've been blocked in before, waiting an hour or more to get out. Right now, I've been waiting almost an hour and typing this dumb review on my phone. Easy solutions here: have an employee present at all hours that use of the facility is allowed; enforce a queue for the drive-in so that people don't get blocked in; put out more hand carts - I could easily handle my current load from outside if carts were available; and require trucks over a certain size to coordinate a time in advance, park outside the drive-in, or use only their own hand carts. I hope you consider at least one of these. Also, please continue to maintain the elevators. Really shameful to have them shut down... Otherwise, yeah, it's a storage facility, not expensive, reasonably safe, and in a convenient location. Updating this in September 2025: the elevators are out AGAIN. How is it that you manage a four-story building, but you can't keep two elevators in basic working order? This despite a recent rent hike. Where is that money going? Please, just keep the elevators functioning. It's not much to ask. This is the only building I've seen in my entire life that can't keep elevators functioning, and I've spent a lot of time in parts of the world with much lower standards. For this, dropping my rating by two stars as if that means anything. ... Read more

I recently moved into a unit at this property after having to move four times in the past two years. The property and units are clean, loading area is laid out well, and the staff have been responsive and awesome to address any concerns and questions I had. Other units have not been very responsive and seemed more focused on corporate policy and making money. Jennifer (manager) and Emaad (other office employee) have been awesome! Both are reactive, seem to care about the tenants and are very friendly, approachable and professional. Highly recommend this storage facility! ... Read more

You don't find decent customer service often nowadays, but they really nailed it here. They were very patient and thorough answering my questions and even brought up some other possible questions I might have later on. One of the employees even made sure to check up on me as I moved in my belongings. All of this was a really welcomed relief since moving can be so stressful. Not to mention the facility is very nice; I particularly appreciate the covered loading area with high clearance for moving trucks. Thanks again for the pleasant interaction! ... Read more

Strictly here in support of Jennifer. Moving in general is never an easy feat. Moving from overseas is an increased challenge. From day one, Jennifer helped with assisting me in discovering the proper temporary storage unit best equipped to sustain my household furniture. She's super professional, pleasant and personable. I've been a customer for four months and I can honestly say I've remained a satified customer. Whenever any questions arise or assistance is required, I've found Jennifer to be super knowledgeable and efficient in providing solutions. Thank you for your awesome service Jennifer! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6375 Bren Mar Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6375 Bren Mar Drive start from $53 and can go up to $574 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
