Bolt Storage bought out Abingdon Small and Large Storage. All our things are gone the lock on the door was cut off. I’m livid, that’s all we had after enduring what we have this last year. Also it was payed monthly and still is we have no clue where that money is going to. ALSO THERE WAS NO WARNING OF TAKE OVER. ... Read more

Andrea helped me make my payment over the phone. She was able to waive a lockout fee after I set up auto pay. She was very understanding of my situation. Bolt Storage, you have a great employee on your hands. ... Read more

Spoke with Amy… she was amazing: friendly, straightforward, and provided a clear answer to every question I had. She made the process easy. Would recommend if you need a storage unit. bolt even provides a lock/key if you don’t have one. Unit was clean upon inspection. 10’x15’ unit pictured. Slightly smaller then advertised, but it fits what I need. *When in doubt, go slightly bigger ... Read more

We showed up to a dirty unit. The floors were not swept and there is gross stuff on the walls. The facility is run down with abandoned vehicles throughout. This is all while paying a premium price. I wish we had stopped by before renting but we were in a rush. Don't make my mistake. EDIT: We were offered another unit only after we had moved in and had cleaned the unit ourselves. My review will improve once this issue is addressed. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Bolt Storage - 16347 Taylor Place include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Bolt Storage - 16347 Taylor Place start from $40 and can go up to $75 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
