Intro price for a 5x10 is a great deal at like 50$ Unfortunately after some time they'll start charging you 165$ for the same 5x10 unit. And they charge a steep 26$ for insurance that covers very little. ... Read more

I was renting with public storage and extra space took over. I went in today to update everything and see what was going on with the break in that happened in Nov. public storage never notified me that the door had been fixed and extra space didn’t know anything about it. The girl that was there today was very apologetic and helped me get the temporary lock off so I could put a new one on. ... Read more

Well apparently my other post got removed. I'm not very happy with public storage, you downside. The unit, get your unit cleared out.Same day.Nobody's there.leave a voicemail saying you cleaned out your unit 5:11pm Wednesday. still get charged feesthe unit is still on your account and then your new unit you sign an agreement saying that it was 58 dollars and then next day supposedly the discounts were only for the first month, and it's only been two days and discount's gone and now, it's $78. Then get told to hop online, open another account. And then we can just have you move all your stuff into that other one if you want the discount. Makayla helped me Wednesday and today. ... Read more

Cheap. The app access is super nice. Sign up online with 0 need for human assistance. The only reason it's not 5 starts is because the units are kind of nasty, and you need to sweep them yourself, but overall, it does the job. ... Read more

I've been looking around town for a trustworthy storage company to store my belongings. I was a little leary about this location, but once I walked in and the nice lady behind the counter was so welcoming and happy and was able to answer all my questions. She had me sold in the first 5 minutes of talking to her. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Thanks Ann for all of your help in my move ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 7125 West 3500 South include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 700 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 7125 West 3500 South start from $57 and can go up to $581 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
