Be aware of their billing and time. I’m from NM. Driving through Colorado and Utah. Realized that I had an issue with my brakes (which in fact was with one Axle Seal. Advance RV was nice enough to take me in right away for a higher hourly fee which I totally agree upon. They took in my rig very fast (9:30am) as decided. Technician took the brake rotor and axle hub and seal very fast. In less then 5.30 I was out. They also changed the fuel filter which apparently was a cause of engine check light. BUT. BUT. BUT. BUT. The issue is that they told me $250.00 per hour but when it was time to charge me they charges me for the job. Not for the actual time. I was there less then 5.30 hours in total (they waited 90 minutes for the Axle Seal part to arrived) Unfortunately they charged me for the time waiting for the part. I got charged over $300.00 for that time while the technician was working on someone else RV. They explained to me that now i have to be charged by the job code book of what it should cost. Not by the time. Technician spent maybe 2 hours on the Axle work. They charged for 4 hours or $500.00 over. Be awarded. Happy with the job. NOT HAPPY with the change of almost $2,000.00 for one Axle Seal replacement and one fuel filter replacement. This is bad Karma for business. They cannot be trusted. ... Read more

They replaced my boat motor and replaced my son’s motor in his mustang. The mustang made it a month and the boat made it six trips to the lake. Of course no warranty. These guys are garbage. Do not have them fix anything. Terrible humans. ... Read more

I can not say enough good things about Advance RV. Air Bags supports broke after two trips on new ones and called then in afternoon they said bring it in at 9am they were ready for me and at 5pm called me to tell me new american made airbags were installed and ready to go. They figured out problem and resolved it and have done over 4000 miles with no problem. DJ said he was going to send me the picture of all of it but have yet to see them which I need to send the bill the the co who put the wrong Bags on. I had requested to use Firestone only and they put some overseas ones on that did not have the support need to work. Thank You to all the guys at Advance Rv for their work and getting me back on the road Fast. ... Read more

Worked with Nick in sales to do a consignment on our trailer. We priced aggressively and sold it in less than a week. It was so easy and they took care of everything I didn't have to do anything but sign paperwork. Thank you for helping us unload our trailer and understanding our needs. ... Read more

I am lucky I went to Advanced RV. Initially I stopped by Advanced RV with my trailer so they could take a quick look at my trailer brakes which were not functioning. Lucky for me, Justin did more than just look at the brakes because he found several cracks in my trailer frame. I was one trailer trip away from a major accident. I was able to file a claim with my insurance for the damage and best of all DJ at Advanced RV took care of working out all of the details with State Farm. When I got my trailer back the frame was rebuilt better than the day I bought it. It took us a couple of times eliminating other issues with the brakes to identify several issues and in my opinion I should have paid for those additional services but Advanced RV refused take my money stating that "They stand behind their work". I would highly recommend Advanced RV, they are fair in their pricing, stand behind there work and are professionals. Thanks to DJ, Justin and the team for getting us safely back on the road. I had an accident where I hit a stranger’s trailer. The owner took the trailer into Advanced RV, who provided a quote to fix the trailer for almost $ 6 k. This seems extremely high, but I am no expert. The damage was in my opinion somewhat minimal ( ~ 6 “ scratch, plus ~ 3” scratch and a bend of a diamond plate trim at the bottom of the trailer). I did not want to require the gentleman whose trailer I hit to have to run to several repair shops for competing quotes, so I agreed to pay the bill. When I called to pay the bill, I wanted to use a Credit Card and spoke to DJ. After some negotiation, he reluctantly agreed to take the card without charging a fee, but he did mention that in “today’s environment, everyone pays the rates they decide.” In looking at their quote they charged $ 169 /per hour of labor, and their hour estimate seems exuberantly high, but again, I am not an adjuster. Based on his comment, it appears they may be taking advantage of the COVID shortage, which will come around to bite them when we return to normal. In reading some of the reviews below, it also appears others have complained about prices. Based on this, I would recommend anyone who is considering using this company to get a few estimates prior to committing your work to this firm. I can’t comment on quality, as I have not gotten work done by them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Advanced RV-Power Sports - 4615 West 3500 S include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
