The Manager here is HORRIBLE!! he constantly flies around the complex, he's extremely rude, I was told I couldn't be in my unit organizing with the door closed when it was 45 degrees outside. He actually turned off the power so I had no lights without saying anything to me. Then when I asked he yelled about how I couldn't have the door closed and started swearing.. then told me I needed to find some where else. What a joke@! ... Read more

So far, so good. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me. I needed access to get my truck to the storage shed on the side and he helped me out. They also have a good price and discount if you sign up for at least 3 months. Will definitely recommend. ... Read more

I had the best renting experience with monarch, very easy to work with. I went in 10 days into the month and said I was moving out of the storage unit. I just unexpectedly received a refund for the remainder of the month. Monarch might not be the nicest storage units but they defiantly make up for it in customer service and reasonable prices. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Monarch Storage - 555 North 1400 East Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 48 to 720 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Monarch Storage - 555 North 1400 East Street start from $35 and can go up to $150 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
