I would like to thank Tyler and Aaron for their courteous demeanor and their cautious delivery. It was obvious that they made certain that the pergola we ordered was handled in a manner that prevented any damage. It was most assuring to us to see such care. Thank you for a pleasant experience. ... Read more

Called on a Friday and was told they was closed and I could come in on the following Friday to rent a space. I went in during thier business hours only to see they was closed again. I called once again and did not receive a call back for a few days. When you set up a time to rent a space for a certain day and you avoid that customers what do you think will happen? Trash company, they do not care about your time or thier verbal commitments. You're better off going to a different storage facility where they want and appreciate customers! ... Read more

I have had a storage shed with these guys for years now! They are very reasonably priced and are great to work with. The guy who I am pretty sure owns the units is a rock star. He is the reason I am still there. There's a lady who helps him that i'm not super impressed with. Principles not personalities. Still deserves 5 stars. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 24 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Dixie Self Storage Center - 982 North Dixie Downs Road start from $45 and can go up to $160 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
