I used Prime Storage in Springville for a while and overall, I'd give it an average rating. Management was alright—there were times when they were helpful and responsive, but other times it felt like they weren’t really interested in addressing concerns or following up. The biggest frustration was the gate, which seemed to be broken or out of service about half the time I had my unit. It didn’t feel very secure when anyone could come and go without a working gate, especially when you're storing personal or valuable items. The facility itself was generally clean and maintained okay, but considering the size of the unit I had, the price felt a little high for what I was getting. I understand storage costs have gone up, but it still seemed steep. Nothing terrible happened while I stored my stuff there, but between the inconsistent management and the ongoing gate issues, it wasn't the most reliable experience. Probably wouldn’t choose this location again unless they made some improvements. ... Read more

I recently had the pleasure of using this storage unit facility, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The facility itself is incredibly clean, secure, and well-maintained. The units are spacious, climate-controlled options are available, and I always felt like my belongings were in safe hands. What truly made my experience stand out, however, was the exceptional service provided by McKenzie. From the moment I walked in, McKenzie greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly knowledgeable about the available units and pricing options. She took the time to walk me through the process, explaining everything in detail, which made me feel completely at ease. McKenzie’s customer service was outstanding—she went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect unit for my needs and even helped me with the paperwork, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her customers, and her attention to detail and professionalism were greatly appreciated. If you're looking for a clean, secure, and well-run storage facility, I highly recommend this one, especially because of McKenzie’s top-notch service. She truly made all the difference! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Prime Storage - 205 West 1400 North include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
