A sudden move, that required me to store most of my belongings, was made less stressful with the kind and helpful staff here. The numerous extra large carts made moving all of the things physically easier. I always feel safe being at my storage unit and it's kept spotless. It's my second time renting a unit here, and I recommend them to my friends. Straight forward fair pricing compared to units I have had at other places. ... Read more

Well……… the honeymoon phase with Box & Lock storage is over. The first few months were great. But now the site manager has decided to single me out and target me for things that I see happen daily from other tenets. Not only has she singled me out and refused to send a reminder to all the tenants at this location, but she is also very rude and demeaning when addressing very small issues. I have asked her to speak with me in a more respectful manner, and have even gone to her superiors about it. She refuses to even try and see things from my perspective and treat me with any kind of decency. I don’t know why she feels the need to target me when so many others break the same rules. Most likely because I stood up for my self and tried to bring to her attention how she talks with people is disrespectful. Things really don’t have to be so difficult. It is a storage facility I pay my rent on time, i spend to long out there organizing sometimes, its not like I am living out of it or using it to hang out and get drunk etc. I work hard and mind my own business and just ask for a little respect in return and she refuses to give any. I don’t know if it is a control issue or what. But I would steer clear of this facility and any other Box N Lock Storage in the valley because she is the site manager of all of them. I will definitely be shopping for a new storage facility in the coming month. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Box-n-Lock Storage - 980 West 2100 South include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Box-n-Lock Storage - 980 West 2100 South start from $69 and can go up to $399 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
